@@maybritt6457 you know plenty of diabetics? I think you’re mistaking type 2. Lila has type 1 which was extremely rare until recently; its still rare but more have it now. I just find it interesting how you claim to know many “type 1 diabetics” I’ve been type 1 for over 20 years and I know THREE others. The point is that no one cares about type 1. Diabetes is an endless joke to so many. And Lila being a model and openly showing her pump and not hiding it, opens conversations to be had around this disease. When this went viral I had so many people I work with ask me about what I go through. They never cared before.

Lila being diabetic doesn’t make her any more qualified to be a world class fashion model. That’s like saying, hey we need this physician to be the medical director of surgery because he suffers from diabetes and diabetics need more representation and advancement in the field. No! We first and foremost need the most qualified candidates for their jobs. Qualification comes first or else you will have shoddy surgeons or models. Identity does not substitute qualification in any field!

You’re totally right, it’ll go over a lot of peoples heads but representation like this does matter. I love that she’s so open about it but also treats it as if it’s a normal thing that’s just part of her life. It can be hard but small things like this remind people they aren’t going through it alone.

see my problem with nepotism is that people can get away with being less than mediocre just because of their name, when lilas mom herself is an amazing model and she has access and money to have the best training she could possibly have, so she doesn’t have an excuse to be bad. no non-nepotism actor would have people saying “their walk will get better” because they wouldn’t have gotten any jobs in the first place.

Totally agree. I actually don't see anything wrong when a kid of famous parents gets job easier (obviously because of connections) IF the kid has real talent, charisma etc. Lila, no matter how sweet and nice, has nothing interesting. Her face, no charisma, even voice and the way she talks...Not even close to her mother.

OK ABI....I'm not sure of what you're really saying here...but as an actress I can tell you this. 95% of all the THOUSANDS of filmmakers/crew/actors/etc have kids in the business. And there is nothing wrong with it. That's part of life. PS. I married Kate's Uncle.

I think Lila has started modelling herself. However even if she hadn’t, there is absolutely no need to refer to as “second generation celebs spawn” She’s a very beautiful girl and could model as well just like her mother there’s just no need to be so cruel about someone you’ve never met because they where born into a privileged background.

It’s fairly black and white .She an averagely pretty girl but not striking model attractive in my opinion. She’s 5.5 in height straight away that rules her out as a runway model and her “walk” is diabolical this is well documented by experts . I agree that the nepotism in the entertainment and fashion industry is beyond ridiculous but Lila is a lovely young woman with really good features. I can see her making it on her own as a model even if she wasn't Kate Moss' daughter.

She seems like a really sweet person, and her bag is lovely. I appreciate that she used this video to highlight her medical equipment and things she uses to keep track of it. So many of these can feel like ads, so I'm glad that she kept things grounded and didn't try to hide this common struggle she herself lives with.

I think it is crazy that she has a vogue cover but isn't very well known. She hasn't been in any fashion shows or been around much but all of a sudden he has a vogue cover. There are models out there who have been working for a long time hoping to reach a high level in their careers and they will never get there because of nepotism. Just sad.

Generic carbon copies of one another. True models, super models, have oh so much more than mere figure and looks - it’s called character and personality. Which this video demonstrates Lila has in spades. She has an inimitable wit, charm and warmth that can only be compared to her dear mother. Obiter: being on the cover of vogue isn’t the only way to make it as a model.

No I don’t think so. She probably can’t even really appreciate it as it was given with little effort . @@tc_0766 not really, Angelina's dad is a famous actor but her mother wasn't, both Lila's parents, Kate Moss and Jefferson Hack are very prominent figures in the fashion/publication industry.

She is chic but she also seems very grounded and approachable. I definitely appreciate that.

Lila appears really lovely and genuine. Her photos don't do her justice she has a really lovely face.

Lila does not look like her mother at all. She favors her father. She just doesn’t have the high cheekbones and sculpted face her mother has. But her teeth are 100x better than her mother’s. She is a lovely girl though.

Love Lila Moss! She has an amazing vibe about her and absolutely love her sense of style really beautiful as well!

Probably why most grandkids of wealthy families end up loosing all their wealth. It’s never a good thing to spoil your kids. They already had an advantage growing up in a wealthy environment and getting the best education, the parents should of told them to make their own paths like most families so the kids can learn and experience life. They just end up raising spoiled entitled clueless weak generation who will have low self esteem because they know they got handed everything by their parents.

She is the most gorgeous young person! I’ve never heard her speak much until now! I don’t care who her mother is she’s adorable! The fact that Kates her mom just makes her more interesting. She might know the right people but I really like her and I like that she’s part of the industry. She’s very interesting and seems approachable. I wish her a fabulous career and life. Jealousy and resentment gets us nowhere

I do have too much time on my hands so am interested in what they carry in their bags or pretend to, there are actresses doing these vids that pretend to carry red peppers in their bags, not funny. I can forgive someone as young as Lila for carrying crystals but over 30 and …..I don’t envy any of them. I look out for flashes of authenticity and these are very rare. Joan Collins was the best.

At least with many children of famous actors who join that industry, they can prove themselves as worthy through their abilities, like Maude Apatow in Euphoria. Maude definitely isn't as talented (yet) as Sydney Sweeney tho...that girl had no connections in the industry but still made it and outshone everyone in the second season of Euphoria. Same for Jacob, I think he also comes from a non-industry background and he did very well here, his best work till date. Z is a child actor so obviously she's more polished, she did so good too. Hunter did amazing for a first time actor (abd director!!)...Alexa was average in terms of acting but she is very charismatic so she made that work very well for her...so if we're talking about Maude, she hasn't proved anything here lol. She's good but was definitely outshone by others (with the exception of Kat probably)

I personally think that she should consider acting. She will never be a popular model, or a good one...nice as she is.

Her voice reminds me of Iris Law! Very gentle and sweet voices. I could listem to them talk all day. I love that they're friends.

There are plenty of commenters here already providing the hate. They prefer to see her just as the daughter of Kate rather than as just Lila herself. She is a beautiful, poised and well spoken young lady (and I mean that it the proper meaning of that word) who is making her way in the world her own way whilst not being held back by her illness.
