@Drando1989 Never said I was "amazed". These rappers aren't musicians. They are writers and help compose. I was saying it's a blessing for a RAPPER who needs their thoughts translated musically but don't have the necessary skill to do it themselves.

@@kingokings7350 “to have a producer that can play what you’re thinking is a blessing” I’m quoting what you commented. And to my point, it’s not a blessing it should be a requirement to collaborate and create music as a producer. Many people express your same sentiments in the comments. I’m not blown away because he’s doing what he should be and what he’s PAID to do.

@@Malik1Only if you can play an instrument, you can produce music. It’s LITERALLY that simple because that’s how music is made. By playing instruments. “beat making” is percussion. INSTRUMENTS. Are you speaking on ENGINEERING?!?! You do not need to know how to work a beat machine or any version of ProTools or any plugins to produce music. This is honestly not a debate. Just say you don’t play instruments and NEED a beat machine. My POINT IS…y’all are pointing out the obvious and it’s because music is saturated. If we took it BACK to when quality music was produced, most of these “producers” today couldn’t hang. What do you do when you can’t sample and you gotta lay down a melody from scratch? You’re lost.
