That Carter 2 run he went with the “50 cent” method of using random producers for the beats. But prior to this version of C2 there was the ORIGINAL c2 produced by mannie fresh (lookup Carter 2.5 or Carter 2 sessions mixtape) but Birdman and mannie fresh fell out so they couldn’t use those beats and thus this version of C2 came out. Funny enough all of Wayne’s albums have had a similar cycle of first second and third versions
