I love when people share their memories with a song, so here's mine. My cousin, some friends, and I were going to stay at this Airbnb in the desert. It's about a cool 3-hour drive, so we just smoking and chilling the whole way there. It was my first time being high in a while, so I was really feeling it lmao. But this song came on, and I remember it was so mesmerizing, just lost in the beat. I can't remember any song that has ever made me feel that way like this. I had no idea who Uzi was back then, so I thought it was going to be a one-time thing, so I just took it in. Fast forward about..2 years? I was listening to my Spotify playlist that I shared with my brother. He had all of his albums on there, so I just wanted to see if I liked Uzi or not. Put it on shuffle, and about 3 songs in, I was fucking with it, and then BAM! Right now started playing, and I was frozen like, no way, I just found this song, and no way is it Uzi!! Since that day, Uzi is forever one of my favorite rappers. No song will ever hit the same. (Sorry, this shit is super long; I was really into it lmaoo)

I usually listen to TDE, Pro era, asap, Flatbush zombies and rap artist of that nature, J Cole, jay z etc. Lil uzi is the first trap artist that I actually like, beats are pretty fire, not so lyrical but that's not his intention so I guess it's cool, catchiness is off the charts tho makes u feel some type of way, that's what music should do for you. dope ass comment, more people need to think like this. Everyone who's set on only listening to one type of rap shits on uzi's lyrics, but Uzi doesn't need to have amazing lyrics to be good. The first time hearing Uzi's music was weird for me, cuz when i was younger all i listened to was mainstream rap and lyrical rappers like j. cole, asap, kendrick, the list is pretty obvious. uzi's music, when I first heard it, made me feel something I'd never felt anything like when listening to music. Honestly I got hooked to the whole trap sound and rockstar rap wave that's been taking over. I still take a lot of time to listen to lyrical rap, but this new sound has been enjoyable for me and uzi is a genius for being a pioneer of it. He just knows how to make shit sound fucking good.
