I'm a 43 year old man. Big metal music man but always loved my hip hop too. In the early hours of this morning, after the worst year of my life, I drove aimlessly for three hours with this bumping on a loop, tears streaming down my face, inconsolable about my situation. When I eventually found myself parked up on my drive, I felt lighter, reset, healed. I don't know much about this kid, I'm not huge on most of his other stuff I've listened to if I'm honest, but he touched me deep down in my core with this. I've heard he was a beautiful human being and I've no doubt that's the case. This right here has no boundaries. It doesn't matter what age, race, gender, or anything else you may be, this is for anyone who's hurting, anyone who's just had enough, who's done with it. It's a truly beautiful track, I'm flat out in love with it.

Came to this song after years and because someone said some hurtful shit it made me cry and i have never been as emotional as i ever have in my life and about 3 years i went through some shit that i brought upon myself and others and i regret what happened but to be reminded of it and for it to affect it for 3 years and feeling like you're all alone when you have people around you everyday is painful and my family doesn't even know what im going through inside and expect im just happy and fine all the time after what happened but i have been slowly healing and trying to appreciate the small things in life that keep me wanting to at least ve here and i have had suicidal thoughts due to what happened but never really ever felt like going through with it because i just don't have it in me is what i like to think but i think it is the small things that prevent that, things like music, anime and manga which have kinda helped me a lot and a lot of smaller things but people nowadays don't know what men go through and how they reallt feel, i carry so much burden and feel like im a disappointment to everyone around me and just knowing that the people around me are ready anytime to use what happened to me as a weapon to bring me down or to use when i say something back or anger them hurts because at the end of the day humans are vicous and selfish creatures and even i know that because even i have resorted to this and i think we all have, i can say much more but it doesn't matter, it just has been very hard to move on from my mistake and it is easier to say something than not knowing how it is being in that persons shoes

I tried to kill myself in November by OD'ing on Molly+Xanax+Ketamine+Cocaine+Alchohol and the last things i remember before blacking out on my bathroom floor was hearing the lyrics lil peep & cold harts song "dying" in my head. Honestly I think it was the only thing keeping me from giving up(I remember wanting to stop breathing and "just go to bed"), and I remember feeling peeps loving energy and he reached out to me, and I know it sounds crazy af but I heard him talking to me, asking me questions, keeping me semi conscious while I was in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. He asked me how my mom would feel if I gave up right now. I still feel guilty to this day because I don't think peep was trying to kill himself that night, and I cant believe I almost took away the gift that was given to me, the same precious gift that was taken from him. Rest in peace to all those who didn't survive their battles. One love.

Anyone wanna share their stories? A cared for a girl alot, but she had a bf so i never considered a relationship with her. One night i noticed she wasnt doing well so i asked her if she was ok. We spoke for a good 2 hours, then she asked if i liked her. I said yes and asked her how she felt. To my surprise she said yes. And i really wish she hadn't because my heart got torn apart seeing her with her bf everyday, knowing that it could've been me. Being reminded everyday that im not good enough to be with her. What did i do to deserve this? What mistake did i make? I just wanted to help her that night... now i wish i didnt exist.

Now ive just been depressed and anxious for the past few months and im worried my negative behavior is pushing her away. But im too tired to pretend im alright anymore. Back in August 2021, I had a severe anxiety. Feel sad and hopeless about my life most of the time. Continuing worrying about my health. Difficulty swallowing foods. Then, I found Lil Peep songs. I started to listen and search every of his songs. I really like his songs. The pain that I had to deal with was perfectly describe in every of his songs. His songs healed me. Helped me a lot. I don't feel really sad when I listen to his songs because hey Lil Peep's songs is like a shoulder to cry on! A best buddy that knows exactly what you feel. I love Lil Peep. I don't quite really listen to his music these days. I have been better. I'm proud of myself because I've made it through the hard times and it couldn't have been any better without the help of Lil Peep's songs. I remember I first heard this song as a senior in high school, it used to emulate exactly how I felt in terms of my mental health struggles and how I never thought I’d get out of it. Looking back 7 years later, it’s crazy to see how times have changed and to see the progress; music’s emotional salience is so strange. when this came out, or when Lil peep and x were on the peak of their music game, I wasn't old enough to appreciate these songs but now I can. It's sad because this era is gone now, it's like when you look at a star, you can appreciate it now but you're just looking at a dead light, still holding on for dear life as it is already dead making its way to our eyes. He was more genius than people even understand. Its like saying Jesus didn't know what he was doing and he didn't put himself on the cross and people saying "it was an accident". I guess it’s true that artists are more famous when they pass. I was somewhat aware of Peep a while back, but didn’t think i’d care for his music so i just didn’t bother. After hearing he passed i figured i’d go out on a whim and give his music a shot. This was the first song i heard. All i can say is how tragic this guy’s passing was. I don’t know what it was but this hit me deep. God bless man rest in peace 🙏✌️
