I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how it would feel hearing him after so long. Even if it's not him this is so so so close, the tone, the rasp..I can imagine it being bittersweet to hear..
I went to a Peep concert knowing very little about him or his songs. I left an addict. Broke me when he died. R.I.P

Lucky af. I learned about peep in 2019 we had a similar story but I have this girl and she lived with me since freshman year and now we graduated and trying to do more with the time we have left, the world is a sad place

Pov: its August 2022 and Peep after overcoming depression and his addictions and establishing himself as one of the biggest selling artist for the past few years is now chilling finally reunited with emma, in his residence near london, passing time live streaming acoustic covers of old and upcoming beautiful songs that he likes. Sometimes dreams are just way better than reality.

This is the first AI Peep song that actually sounds like him. I’ve listened to basically all of the ones out on KZread & most are off but holy shit - this is scarily accurate. Its a very weird feeling, hearing this. I love it.

No it does NOT. Peep was an extremely talented lyricist. Embarrassing to even compare this amateur work to his caliber of expertise. Gustav was a professional artist. This is generic hyper glorified depression pop music. Gus didn't fluctuate his voice like that EVER. Not one single song. He couldn't do that. I hate this and will never support this AI music. I understand we miss him, but let this young man rest !

Jesus I know this is fake, but I could see him actually covering this, and the voice is so spot on and this honestly just got me all emotional not only knowing his whole story and the demons he fought on his own, but the pain in the voice felt so genuine also. Fucking love this

But that's the sad truth of these covers as beautiful as they may seem. It's just not very realistic unfortunately. As much talent as he had. He couldn't produce vocals like this fam. Perhaps he COULD'VE; in time. but, sadly. We will never know.

Went to one of his live performances not long after a week of signing w goth boy clique, it was a small venue in the Bay Area, and i had so much as a 14 year old, he scarily sounds so accurate on this song like he was performing live. This is really special and I just wanted to say this was really well done.. Rest in Power Gus
