I used to love this song so much, I showed it to someone who was my chosen family. He was like my big brother. His name was Chris. He also liked this song alot. I would over play this in the car, and he didnt mind at all what I played or how loud I played it. He's dead now. He passed August 2019. I haven't been able to listen to this song in a long time, same with other songs. I also haven't really been ok or at peace with doing holidays anymore. Tonight I set up my own Christmas tree, which has been impossible for me to do for years due to the grief. Besides setting up my Christmas tree, I listened to a bunch of old songs that I used to play in the car or at home. I held his box of ashes to my chest and cried my eyes out. I'll never forget him, but it's a bit easier on me this year with grieving. I still think of him everyday, and I still text his phone on occasion and on holidays even if he can't answer. I still have other family but I was hurt so bad that I couldn't properly participate in holidays anymore. I was there for the most part, but every holiday hurt me inside. Merry Christmas to my big brother Chris Panagakis. I'll be sad for a while but I'll get back up. The tree looks good, and the presents for family and friends will look even better under it. I just thought I'd share a backstory with KZread, I felt like writing it out.

I just found Lil Peep and educated myself about him and his legacy. I am incredibly moved by what this young man stood for and how he so devoutly wanted to help and change the world. I wish I could put things into words. My brains too loud and everything is so scrambled 24/7. Tired of being tired. Sick of being sick. Sick and tired of being in the middle of everyone’s problems on top of my own yet mine aren’t even noticed or cared about. I’ve been doing this life alone for far too long. Single father is the reason I’m still here. Literally made an attempt that 1 in a million would survive and then upon leaving the hospital just a few days later I found out I was going to be a father. I still hold on that being the reason I was kept here. All the things you hear about people dying and coming back are true. I could see everything going on as I was floating above my body watching them work on me. To this day the people who were at the hospital for me don’t understand how I know what I do. I was basically gone and not coherent one bit. Yet I knew just about everything plus more. It’s still something I don’t open up much about because it sounds crazy I know, and it just isn’t easy. But I guess here on KZread I feel more comfortable sharing it. Life is beautiful but at the same time it’s not. To this day my family and I are going through the unimaginable with two of my brothers and it never gets easier. Every day is a new fight but coming out on top and pushing through is what needs to be done to continue this journey. I know the reason I was kept here being that I was becoming a father without knowing.. now I hold onto the reason I have to stay is because I am a father and he needs me! If you’re having a hard time reflect back on any song that will pause all that loud noise in your head to replace it with other noise that is going to actually help you think.. and maybe speak for you so things make sense in that moment. I love everyone and I hope you all stay blessed. ❤

@@lassed57 I have a tumor in my jaw. I've had 3 operations so far, but it kept growing back. It's still here at this time, but I can't get my fourth operation because I have a lack of white bloodcells. Because of that my body is too weak, they will operate me when my tumor grows so big that it can cause problems with my nerves in my cheeks that will cause me to have half of my face peralised. But the biggest issue is that there is a big chance my tumor will move itself to somewhere else. And because my tumor is located in my jaw the nearest places are my brain, lungs and heart. The biggest chance is that it will relocate itself to my brain.

This is the song that got me back into lil peep after not listening to his music since he died. Just something about this song is so depressing in a comforting way. If I had not been listening to this, in 2019 during a huge depressive episodeand gone done a rabbit hole I would have never discovered some incredible artists and music that had stopped me from ending my life that night. Still remember it so crisply.

It’s crazy how you can feel so alone but one song can describe exactly how you feel. Someone knows exactly how you feel. I’m so grateful for him and can’t wait to see him again someday
