I hope people don't get disappointed that his songs are about his feelings and he's taken a different turn in terms of genre. Even a nomination for AOTY would do, I just want the album to fare well with his fans... Because somehow the catchy ones like Scoop and Dolla Sign Slime are topping the charts and not the deep serious ones 🤦🏻‍♀️

The best thing about Lil Nas X being on top is that young kids look up to someone who got where he is for being 100% unapologetically himself. Something to take pride in!

There’s only one song in this album that I usually skip midway through (dollar sign) but overall, each and every single one of the tracks could be released as a single. It sounds more like a Greatest Hits compilation than an album. It’s so good, conceptual, intimate but also commercial. The way he created the songs to either be heard by a niche of people or to be played at any radio station is mind blowing. Every one has a different favorite track from this album and that speaks volumes, it means that he doesn’t have only 2 or 3 good songs and those are what people most likely listen to. He has a full album full of bangers, each single track is someone’s favorite and there isn’t any other artist doing that. Also, this album is for everyone, not only for those who listen to rap music only. I don’t listen to modern rap, not my genre at all, but I see myself immersed in LNX’s world, the way he has different genres mixed with rap is what makes him so adored by everyone. He adapts, he’s versatile and very very very talented. I really wish he finds what he looks for because he truly deserves it. ❤️

I love that it's versatile. And yes, Dollar Sign Slime is a skip (or at least Megan's verse) and Scoop is not in my taste, the others are amazing to me because of their depth. My favorites are the ones with surprising instrumentals and good harmonies. I'm concerned about the fans that listen to him because of his catchy songs. The singles are mostly about his struggles and I'm scared that might bore some. I'm actually very happy he's come in this direction, it feels like I've found a voice and I'm not alone. But there's no telling what the general masses would like... Either way I hope it doesn't take a toll on him. ~Lol look at all this concern I have over a celeb 😂 ~
