THE B.E.T. AWARDS SHOW WAS A HOT MESS. I WOULD NOT LET MY CHILD WACH IT. SO THIS IS ALL ARE SO CALLED BLACK INTERTAINERS GOT TO OFER OUR KIDS? AND KNOW ONE ON T.V BLACK SHOWS WILL NOT DENUNCE IT? THAT TELLS ME THAT THEY LOVE THIS NASTY BEHAVIOR, ITS KNOW BIG DEAL. OR THEY HAVE BILLS TO PAY, SO WILL NOT SAY ANYTHING TO LOOK BAD. OR HAVE THERE T.V. SHOW CONSULED.

Did you see how lil Kim gave props to Queen Latifah? Sincerely thanking her for paving the way for her and many others. That's the definition of a Bad B. No one does that anymore and it really doesn't take that much to show some love and appreciation to the legends that dug their way through first, just so that they can have an even better access to this thing called success in a male dominated industry.

Thank you. I think the last time I saw this kind of love (unified) was back when Mariah and Brandy and them were showing it to the likes of Aretha and Diana Ross. Sad that Janet, Celine, Mariah, Brandy, Eve didn't get the recognition they deserve on a large scale. Or have yet to.

Always wished I was old enough to see Latifah, Kim, Eve etc on their prime. Same as Biggie , Tupac, Snoop dog etc. Don’t know much about their music discography because they were popping before my time. One thing for sure I’m always going to have mad respect for them. Such a different vibe even performing. Wish hip hop had this style as mainstream today. Mad respect.

@@veniagivenchy1532 honestly I can’t get into artists discography I didn’t grew up with, not because they’re not talented or anything but because I wasn’t there living in the moment. It’s just not the same to me. Sounds dumb af I know 😂 . But I do know Kim’s most popular songs though. Over all i know all the rappers I named on my other comment most popular songs. Kim is cool, her BET performance last year was so dope to me, hearing all those songs live and watching everyone enjoy the songs was awesome. The whole vibe back than in rap seem special. I like it. You can tell she had her hits back in the day 🔥 she’s a big key in rap for females (this is coming from a Minaj fan) .

One of my all time favorite tributes! I watched it live that night, and it sent chills all through my body. Queen is so deserving of her flowers and I hope there are more tributes to come. Everyone did amazing, Lil Kim was my personal favorite. Kim came out there and used her 90s rap voice. I was happy to see her in her element.
