Back in the day you could never make demands about who could attend an award show or red carpet event, but Nikki did. She called people and said she wouldn’t show up if other female rappers did. in light of the recent back-and-forth between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, I had to write on this video and see how I feel. I grew up in the 2010s, and was born in 2003, someone people asked me how do I know about certain artists is mostly because of my family, and or me being exposed in a matter very young age. With Lil Kim, my mom and my dad used to pay her all the time when I was a little kid, so it wasn’t like I went searching for her. She was always being played in my household, which help me to go respect for her and females like her.. her realness her regalness her looks, and most importantly her ginuwine spirit. I remember being in eighth grade during this time and remember always having to vouch for her just being a lover of music and having to tell my friends and their family that Lil Kim is not a villain people bullying me people talk crazy about me because I stood by this woman during this dark time as a lover of hip-hop, Kim was ridiculed. She was lied on she was used. She was abused all for Nicki Minaj, and this is not any hate to Nicki Minaj, because I also grew up listening to her too, and I have a very fond place in my heart by her just because I think somebody on Twitter put it well she came in during a time where women we’re not really make a music and change the game and how we appreciate women making music and that’s what my appreciation for her as an adult came from because I didn’t have that as a child for her. I’m sayin all of this to say we all owe little kim. I really don’t care what happened to her face or what she did to it because we don’t even know the true nature of what that was about so before we fix a master judge her about what happened to her luxe let’s speak to the fact that she’s surrounded by people like Diddy and people like biggie. These are some of the most violent people that the truth is just now coming out about so this woman’s journey is probably worse than the average but that does not take away from the fact that we got this wrong as a culture weed shit it on Lil Kim we canceled or Kam we did all these different things by Nicki Minaj to hurt Lil Kim, in spite of and now that the truth is coming out about Nicki Minaj Kim has not pivoted and Kim hair stay true to who she really was outside of the weird surgeries and things that she’s had so we have to understand that Kim deserve better and that we as a Culture gotta do better we how we treat our leaders in our icons because Kam is clearly not been treated fairly in the past. I just had to say that and this is a 2024 so this video is still relevant.

I feel bad and sorry to any barb who felt she was jealous of Nicki’s success but Lil’ Kim was right about her this entire time. It’s been over 10 years since this interview and all the beef and shit Nicki got herself into Kim was talking about in this interview. People clown Kim all the time for her plastic surgery yet Nicki got surgery on herself as well and completely stole Kim’s entire style. I admit, I still love and respect some of Nicki’s music and success and I can’t disrespect her for that because she is very talented but based on her toxic behavior, the current situation with Latto, and the beefs with Remy Ma and Cardi B, Kim was 100% correct. Nicki feels she’s the only female rapper that needs to be recognized and constantly shits on and disrespect every female rapper from old school to new school and that’s just disgusting and reprehensible because most of them are talented and lyrically better than her including Lil’ Kim. As I said Nicki is talented but she is incredibly overrated and no matter how you feel about Kim and her surgeries, she is still a hip hop legend and deserves an apology.
