Hell yeah, but just like when the Bay had it for a minute, they lost it because of too many gimmicks and not enough significant music! I’m from the Bay Area, but I listen to mire Texas rap than anything although California rap (North & South) is a close second. But for some reason, I (lean) towards Texas rap more - I think it’s because Texas rappers tend to be more serious, straight to point and their rhymes are more adult themed, and the music is/was more R&B driven - IDK!!! 🤷‍♂️
