I’ve come back to their channel to rewatch these lil dicky freestyles again. To be honest, after this reaction I haven’t watched them like I used to. They really turned me away with the disrespect especially after how on fire they were for him in the first freestyle and the russel Westbrook one. They really seem like they like him but feel ashamed or something? Dunno but I do know I’ve found other reaction channels that aren’t as bias. This may not compare to official tracks, but he has time to write and revise those songs. If he's coming up with these lines and doubles on the spot, it is indicative of massive talent.

Lil Dicky's issue is that everything is funny. He needs to make some more music that plays down the punch lines a bit. Russel Westbrook on a farm, How can you sleep, and Molly are all great. As long as people look at him as a comedian more than a rapper, he will have people calling him corny.

These guys made me remember when Em was dropping bars in a style he basically created, outrapping every other rapper you could think of at that time and the community refused (at first) to admit he was the best just because he was different. If you are a hip hop lover and have boundaries that makes your judgement biased then you are lacking everything about hip hop, because hip hop is a type music created to give freedom to artists. People from hip hop think trap is bad because the music style is the same everytime, but when LD comes with a hot and funny freestyle (different from the "I came from the hood" type) they refuse to give him credit. Just to end, the hip hop is a form of art therefore the main purpose is to entertain people, simple as that. Was there any freestyle in Sway's that served this purpose better than LD? Peace

Lil Dicky is one of the most underrated rappers - He might have silly lyrics, but his flow and how fast he can pull out bars is insane. Know Hill on YT breaks down stuff the best out of everyone I've seen. He goes through every single line pretty much as the song is going and so many of his bars have double and triple meanings .. It's stupid.
