@Mr Happy Folger they ran in the same circles but those guys were really in the street and big/puff weren’t strong enough yet to go against them so pac basically got left on his own. But he was warned about hanging around those dudes and he named a few of them in a vibe article discussing the rape incident so that’s why they robbed him. If it happened a few years later when bad boy was stronger they probably would have been able to help pac but maybe then not even.

They ain’t stupid enough to set Pac up and be there. They had no beef what so ever at that point. Pac was mad as he should and was on some fuck everyone stuff. I think feds got to an inmate and instigated the that’s Biggie’s homeboy. Biggie knew of Haitian Jack like everyone did. But Biggie definitely had control over him and told Pac be careful he’s no good. Pac wanted Big to protect him but Big ain’t a shot caller like that. Yea Pac got a great heart and would lookout for east coast friends in Cali though.

all Biggie did kno he warned tupac about...Pac even admitted that... Pac chose to continue running wit those grimey guys from Brooklyn and in the end they booked him...thats what happens...then he went to LA and pretty much did the same nonsense only that time he didnt make it....i love Tupac as an artist..he was absolutely brilliant...However unfortunately as a grown man now i can see he was jus a troubled lost soul making a lot of mistakes and it costed him his life thats all that happened.. and it happens in the hood every day...if i didn't have the father and the parents i had it would have happened to me...i had plenty of friends growing up who didn't have the right support system and ended up exactly like Pac

The whole story is a joke. Even the headline doesn't make sense. Someone other than me put it best: Pac never claimed Biggie set him up. He claimed Biggie knew something and didn't say. Nothing about Cease story addresses the actual accusation Pac made. This argument is with a straw man. The argument with Pac was about whether Biggie knew something and kept it to himself, or if he actually had no idea what was about to happen. Concievably, if he did know that people way above his pay grade were making moves on Pac, he wouldn't tell everyone and their mother that he was gonna fuck his best friend over to save his own ass from repercussion. So somebody like Cease wouldn't neccessarily know whether Biggie knew or not, unless Biggie decided to not only fuck his friend over, but also be 100% open to his other friends about being a two faced bitch. Just think about it for a second. So while that "theory" doesn't prove Biggie's guilt, this Cease recollection of events also does not prove Biggie's innocence. And then, there's like another 30 perspectives to base a judgment on and nobody that thinks Biggie might have known think so just beacuse Pac said so. It is the combination of Pac accusing Biggie, the rap sheet and history of "Haitian" Jack and King Tut, and other circumstances happening at the time that make things seem less than clear as day. If Cease never knew shit about shit, the fact of his story never changing signifies fuck all, basically.

Not just a sad and misfortunate piece of Hip Hop History, but History as a whole.... R.I.P to both B.I.G and Tupac

I used to work in quad sometime after bobby smhurda got locked up. The rapper Pac was comin to see was lil shawn (shawn pen). I met him in passing . When he visited quad studios again he looked and spoke as if their were ghost in the walls.That made me realize what looks like a dramatic scene In the movies is actually peoples lives. Quad studio was a traumatic experience for the people involved. All the gangsta shit Aint worth it if you gotta live with ptsd the rest of ya life. Yall can keep it.

Every time someone speaks about the two fall in legends. My heart gets full with grief, it’s unfortunate how the streets could cause friendship and relationships, these two were definitely a special gems gone too soon. Rest in paradise kings.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

If what Cease is saying is true I can see why Pac thought Bad boy had something to do with the shooting at Quads. Cease greated Pac 1st which makes it look like a set up. Tells to come around the building where the robbers were at. Which seems like another set up tactic. I was a huge Pac fan as a teenager (since thug life volume one) and it seemed like he was the type, if he kicked it/w you. He was down/w you, somebody had beef with you they had beef with him. Cease is the only person in the world that was there when both BIG got shot and he was there when 2pac got shot.

this sht deep,Pac said his homie at the time who was with him stretch had something to do with it..the first verse from holla at me was dedicated to him..Pac was saying some real shit in his rhymes at the time,but because a lot of us did not know what he was going through at the time, we all just assumed it was just music.

What happened to the version that included Tupac making it to the studio after being shot? I recall something about the elevator door opening and Puffy, Un, and Big looking shocked. Im gonna find the Vibe article and re-read it.

They (Badboy) shouldn't have released 'Who shot you' soon after...it caused the domino effect which led to the deaths of Pac and Big. God bless the dead.

Such a tragic tale. The world was robbed of two of the greatest to ever grab a mic and for what? Anyway, great interview. I actually really enjoyed Lil Cease's album The Wonderful World of Cease A Leo. I think it was very underrated.

Remember guys this man was 15 at the time. Kinda hard for a 15year old to make up stories especially when it has something to do with someone dying. The traumatize he witnessed at 15 will never leave him. I think Pac at the time wanted to place the finger at biggie because around that time biggie was already blowing up.

PAC was running his mouth to much and was warned by Tyson and BIG to stay away from Jack & nem but he didn’t listen and was talking too much to the press and cops. Idk why people or PAC expected a different outcome.

Pac never accused Big of being involved in the shooting he just accused Big of not warning him but I don’t think Big knew.

Pac fans always believe everything he said, whether it made sense or not. They will always rationalise his paranoia and recklessness. According to Pac himself, Big warned him to stay away from his shooters, he didn't listen. After learning the hard way, he blames Big for not telling him 🤦🏾‍♂️

I think Big knew. If Big didn't know how could he warn him of anything? Pac said he asked by why he shouldn't hang with dudes and Big said "I'll tell you later" Later never came and Pac was shot. You see that looks?
