U should read the Middle School Series. It’s made by the same people who made I Funny. It’s a lot like DOAWK, but with a story spanning across every book

Dear Dumb Diary is DEFINITELY not a knockoff of Dork Diaries. It has a COMPLETELY different style of humor than both Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries, but it's an acquired taste to be sure. Dork Diaries though is LITERALLY just the "girls' version" of Wimpy Kid and it's a pretty boring high school drama. Not much else to say other than that. And yes, Big Nate is really good and funny. -Ruby

I keep going back in forth between the bad guys and wimpy kid for a favorite book

Honestly the big nate is one of the best series for books. The comic series such as Big nate from the top and many others have humor targeted to a more mature audience which makes them comedic gold.

In one of the books, greg mentions the underpant bandits, which is basically a reference to captain underpants.

The treehouse series was my childhood every Australian kid has read that book glad its on that website

Try a big nate book. It can either be the novel or the comics whatever one you pick. The series is really good.

I'd recommend the Adrian Mole series, mostly because I'm convinced that Diary of a Wimpy Kid ripped it off.

Dork diaries is the GOAT of my childhood no way you call it a knockoff it's like diary of a wimpy kid but for girls

The Treehouse Adventures - Big fan, i own the first three. 4. Origami Yoda Files - Never heard of. 5. Big Nate - Cool, i own the first two. 6. Stink - What is this? 7. Alvin Ho - Never heard of. 8. My Wierd School - Huh? 9. Dork Diaries - I once read (never onwed) the first one. Pretty boring. 10. Roller Girl - I don't know. 11. Roller Pigzy? - Same as last one. 12. I Funny - Never heard of. 13., 14., 15. What is this stuff? 16. Captain Underpants - Huge fan, own the original trilogy, watched the movie and all Netflix series. 17. Amulet - I don't know. I have never heard of Stickdog and Fly Guy. Also got some tips for ya wimpy kid fans: Tom Gates, Julius Zebra and Dog Man.
