got a story to the song it's about a couple, both with a troubled and secretive past. The singer goes outside to see his lover burying something. But before he can get a good look he slips. His lover helps him from the ground, and she reminds him. "I will not ask where you came from, I will not ask and neither should you" meaning that they won't ask about his past, as long as he doesn't question theirs. Whenever anything questionable happens, they just kiss and move on. but he sees his lover looking at him, questioning his past, before they do some digging around the house. The singer catches them, and he sadly already knows, that soon his lover will have to find out what his past life was. But again, he doesn't ask their past, and they don't ask his and they kiss and make up. But as time goes on, they grow more and more suspicious of each other, more and more memories from their pasts come up. But again they keep to their promises. "I will not ask where you came from, I will not ask and neither should you."

I've never heard of this song until a small part of it was played near the end of Good Witch, on Hallmark, Sunday, 07.5.20. It was so calming, with the back-up singing, I just had to look it up.

Maybe it’s just my southern accent but when he said neither I was like 😯. I know he’s from Ireland and how he says words is different but I say neither like "niy-ther “ not " knee-ther “ and the difference was just funny to me 😅
