Admitting my skepticism, it took me until the 5 minute mark when you got me in the gut with this cover. This is quite excellent. And it is tough, tough, tough to do these sorts of Dylan songs 'just right' - but you nailed it, Sir.

Same here. They always sing better than him, but most people don't get the songs at all. The storytelling makes all the difference with Dylan
Dylan............. probably the best songwriter / poet ever, he will be remembered forever from the tunes he’s given us......... in reality a lot of his tunes are better covered ... this is brilll 👍

I agree about covers often surpassing Bob's versions, but have to say I think he's probably the 3rd best lyricist of all time, behind Robert Hunter and John Barlow - and they didn't plagiarize, unlike Bob..

What? The song IS played on acoustic haha, and at a beginner level. But yeah, it's a good version. I do prefer the gritty Dylan version, but this is a good cover
