@@DanzoLovesEyes against groups/before awakening? Sure, beast wins out with a proximity bonus. But once you get brawler awakening, it's basically over - you're never gonna use any other style again aside from the occasional beast group slaughter, especially as it has a perfect guard counter

@Yanramich nah, beast proximity straight up does more than brawler heat actions *especially* the back attacks, and so does weapon attacks with beast too, with the added benefit of beast's ones having an aoe effect

There is another heat action you can do which is the one that throws enemies into the water either on the floor or standing

There's also another one where you use a griller to burn the enemy's face. Managed to find it in Hawaii dungeon

There's also the rail crush heat actions, though they're basically Ijincho exclusive due to prop positioning. Parking lots are rly good for this.

I can’t wait for modders to add even more heat actions into Brawler style just because executing it in turn-based game is cool af

@@tentayeprimo6674I think Ichi was able to do the microwave one in 7 with his Freelancer Essence? It was just heat actions depending on where you were currently. I haven't checked but you should still be able to do that one provided you're somehow able to drag a street fight into a Poppo

I hope they add the Gaiden Wall Crush Heat Actions. If you are in front of the enemy, you get the Ōryū style variant. If you are behind the enemy, you get the Agent style variant.

Ngl I had the most fun with Kiryu's section in this game. No hate toward Ichiban at all. I loved his section too, and I think he's a great character. But there was just something about exploring Japan as Kiryu, reminiscing on old times, and helping him find his will to keep fighting and living that really struck a chord with me. Amazing game, and honestly just an amazing series overall

There are also heat actions where you throw people into the water or off an edge.

Just to add adachi also has a weapon that gives a stun effect, the crowbar you can find on the first visit to yamai’s base

Now that you mention it, i think i also have that crowbar but i don't use adachi much in the game. But thanks for mentioned it! i'll provide it in the description.

i cant believe i forgot about essence of throwing front/back recently i found a new heat action in yokohama near the homeless camp / parking lot essence of ass crush and a reverse grab version

The game is deceptive AF in the beginning. During the Kiryu tutorial it lets you do the pole crush and big/small objects HACT... then you'll wonder why it never triggers again. They really need to say 'oh this is a preview of what you can do AFTER awakening Kiryu MUCH LATER' 😑

Thanks you lol. I was wondering the same, tried everything, every potistion for 30 minutes and nothing happened. Also browsing Google and no one even mention you need to progress through the story to unlock it.

you can still do some heat actions like throwing off clifs but you need have to have proximity bonus

There is one more thing, in the Dungeon you can find a syringe with which he will stick the enemy

i wish each stance had they're own set of heat actions rather than just brawler

I got a heat action while just fighting in the streets of hawaii where I pours a salt into someones eyes

You can also do bowling heat action using coconut

There is " Essence of Salt" around Sushizanmai in Kamurocho

I wonder if the Microwave heat action is on the game, by attacking a stunned enemy near a poppo or something

Here’s one you forgot, I found this in the dlc dungeon and it’s where you use a salt shaker against the enemy, it’s called “essence of salting”, also in zhaos default job, there is a weapon that you can get for him that stun, I don’t know how I acquired it though but I know you can get one for zhao default job Edit: you acquire the weapon from the dlc dungeon lol

there’s one with smacking the enemy to the car rear plate

i somehow manage to use 1 of the heat action maybe where Kiryu just throw people off the bridge

i love the addition of heat actions to the game but they feel really weak if you know what i mean. i hope someone makes a heat action mod that adds more heat actions with better effects and whatnot

Maybe because your DoD level is low and you haven't awakened yet. DoD job and Kasuga's Freelancer/Sujimancer are getting big attack or magic boost when they're at higher level since they can't use weapon

Btw are you playing on normal here ?

They should’ve implemented these better, like the sound design is shit and it just ends odd, like they just put it into this game and called it a day
