The derp on the Alecto is not as "competitive", but you can fire over cover. In third person camera the gun will aim over hills/debris/walls and the enemy literally can't shoot you in return. Also, the high trajectory helps it hit open topped vehicles from above.

@@12LoLproductions yep and far more accurate and the Dpm isn't depressing I did that with the German 10.5 at wadi looping shells over the dunes against heavys (well it was before HE WAS nerfed so 1hit track down and then holding down the fire button till nothing is left) farming the KV1 or M6 of all his HP XD so dirty but at the same time as much fun for the derp player) Oh and recently I adopted that to the Vk28.01 10.5 and the newer zoom out aka tactic over view or so is great so it isn't that hard of a pixel hunt for the right click even possible to aim like that but man that takes a good monitor and a stable hand

@@RedXlV I would say the worst thing is that it's utterly boring. You just drive around invincibly and shoot at things. At least with the Alecto you need some skill.

It should be noted that if one looks at the player stats in most low tier matches, there's hardly any "noob" players. Its mostly clubbers vs clubbers, so B2, valentine 2s, FCM Pak 40s and other clubbing tanks abound. There's guys who even have 10K plus battles in their L. Tr. Secondly, with the daily missions, these are often more easily done at these tiers. Need to get 20 penetrating hits? 7 crits in a battle? way easier when you have an autocannon, as opposed to something with a 10 second reload. Battle pass and the Christmas event makes being able to do these missions quickly if you have limited play time a priority.

about the Panzer B2: There are some invite codes out there that actually give you the Pz B2 upon account creation, so these players may actually not be seal clubbers but genuine new players (like probably the first B2 he shutdown, that tried to rush him)

that explains why there are like 4 Pz B2s in the video. WG sell them in bundles, but this much in just this match alone is sth different.

My favourite low tier tank is the Matilda, if used correctly it feels as if you have a really unfair advantage over the other players, lol. I mostly use it when there is a daily challenge which sometimes just doesn't work that day (like 4 kills in a game, 7 critical hits in a game)

My "sealclubber's fun police" tank is the Luchs. In a 3 players platoon. This little guy can execute anyone at tiers IV and even 5 with a synchronized clip.

too bad this tank got nerfed to the ground in the update where the hitpoints of low tiers were raised. I absolutely loved the tank, but now the dispersion values and the accuracy is so bad, you won't hit sh*t unless you are right in the face of your enemy.

A lot of the holiday ops missions are easier for low tiers. You need to get 4 kills in a battle for one of them. That mission is far easier at low tiers compared to tier 10s.

Wargaming has taken most of the fun derp tanks out of the game or nerfed them to a shadow of their former glory. They said it was for game balance, but maybe they didn't like players making easy credits with cheap HE ammo.

Club the clubbers. If that makes you sleep well at night I'm all for it.

The oldschool T18 at tier 2 I believe it was . Little American TD seal clubber until it was split into two different tanks .

One of my favorites specially with the derp shell that loops over cover, trained with my former clan on this with their tier 10s since I just started playing the game.

Makes me want to have “invitational” matches. I’d like to have players of my level, with crews and equipment more advanced, but playing with lower tier vehicles. No interference from tanks like Bourrasques, Progetto 46s, wheelies, (fill in the blank here). Think how much fun it would be to have thirty players at your level! Make it quite a challenge. I dare say there’s a much lower likelihood of a ten kill blowout! 😎

Cruiser II was the best most fun seal clubber with that derp gun and very high arc. Then they nerfed it removing the gun, not that it matters soon after they nerf HE.

I absolutely love to sealclub in the Alecto, but my favorite sealclub is the SU-76G (Chinese tier IV TD), which uses the same top gun as the tier VI medium. There might be tears.

The Frnch actually had both "Char B1" and "B2" tanks in the inter-war period, and the beginning of WW2. Most were scrapped by the Germans, but some where used as anti-partisan vehicles, or turned into artillery transports

I'm a fairly experienced player and every now and then I like taking the Matilda for a spin. It's just a comfortable tank that trundles along and can feel godlike when top tier. Especially during events like this Christmas, you get to dunk on B2 platoons that don't really expect someone to stand up against them.

When WG changed low tier MM and removed 90% of lower tier tanks, they pretty much removed all the joy that low tier had. Tanks like B1, B2, Valentines , Matildas, , Hetzers or Pz S35 or Pz IIJ were not that common. Even though a lot of people had them - those were a rarity because there were a lot of other tech tree tanks (tier 2, 3, 4, 5) in the mm queue, that people were grinding thought. So, for the most part it was regular players vs other regular players in an "average" tanks. The "seal-clubers" were a rare thing. Right now, lower tiers are pretty much heavily armoured tanks (or invisible tanks) vs other heavy armoured tanks, all full gold ammo. It has gotten so bad that even most of seal-clubbers left for higher tiers. As for the B2 & Valentine - those received a "passive" nerf. Previously, those tanks could meet tier 2, so they would not even need gold rounds. And after HP buff & changes in lower tier mm & tech trees - it has gotten even worse.

Now low tier (2-4) is just a gold spam fest like tier 10. Taking 2 machine gun tanks 1vs1. One using only gold and the other AP. One angle the armor but the GOLD pen anyways. The one that fire AP bonce half the clip... So even if you try and angle or what not the p2w wins anyways. Only tanks worth playing are the ones with good standard pen. Rest are all requiring gold spam or you just die 50% faster then the enemy. And it is no tank variation just gold spam. Losing credits...

My favorite low tier seal clubber is the SU85b Has a crazy 85mm gun The T70 is also sneaky good as well, as it has great sloped front armor and a reliable gun.

I remember starting a new line and in the su76 tank destroyer getting 13 kills. Felt dirty

Not everyone is an absolute genius in world of tanks and low tiers are just fun. At least for me I don’t play low tiers to curbstomp, I play low tiers because I can rush around at tier 3 with a pz IC and laugh my butt off charging into the enemy team. It’s not competitive, it’s basically suicide, but it sure is fun

I really enjoy playing with the Hetzer. If i have for example daily missions that require blocking a certain amount of damage It's the best tank at Low Tier for me. And shooting with its 105 mm cannon is a satisfaction

I love the Alecto, so many meme shots.

I used to like playing some low tiers for stress relief back in the days. Not nowadays. But in the past - Pz I C & II G @ Tier III were my go to fun toys. Moderatly good 2 and a half skills crews on those. At Tier IV Schnappi was the obvious choice (Hetzer with 105mm derp gun), but I also loved the Pz III J and the Japanese Ke-Ho later on when it was introduced. At Tier V I only kept the T67 and the StuG III G. Everything else at that tier that I own is Premium or Reward tanks. I might buy back some of the old gems that weren't Derp tanks, like the Pz III/IV, AMX ELC and the Leopard.

B2 owner, I use it to complete fluffy Christmas missions like 30x crit hits. Low tier tanks are just silly pew-pew machines, so I don't mind bouncing a shot off the face of a TD aimed at me. With low tiers, I don't have to remember as many weak points to aim at like I do with tier 8-10, because less tanks. Matches tend to be quick. Also, B2 easily gets penned by any tier 4 and usually can be penned in the front by any tier 3 not using a machine gun. It used to feel like it had armor back when there were only 3 tank lines, but I haven't seen a Steel Wall in forever.

I think low tiers are funnier and happier than high tiers. High tiers tend to be so "serious" that it can take the fun out of the match. Low tiers are just usually more satisfying in terms of having a good time with the team and the enemy team. The enemy SU did a very good play, though!

I absolutely love the M3G FT and the SU-76G FT. Those tanks are ridiculous for the amount of damage that they could deal due to having a gun that is 1 or 2 tiers higher than the actual tank tier. I use the 57mm on the M3 and the 85mm on the SU-76

Yay, the Alecto, I love mine (though hardly play it these days). Third highest camo in the game (can get up to 70.66/17.81 camo stationary), 50kph (54.5 w turbo), chain-saw gun w. 6 pounder (110/180 pen, 1957 dpm) and can max view range. Best tier 4 t.d. despite having virtually no armour.

I have a guilty pleasure on low tiers, mostlly T-28 to complete events that alow down to tier 4. Also, playing in SA server i mostly play against literal bots, so theres not all that much shame (they sometimes play better than tomatos blindfiring and using gold)

Hetzer!!! Love that thing and Luchs too!! I have that Pz B2 bought it in the last dayly deals event that we had a month or two ago... actually i dont find it to be much fun to play... But defenetly that super special MM helps it a lot!! that thing in the past was extremely strong but these days there are plenty of guns that actually can pen it with some carefull aiming or premium ammo.

The Alecto is my favorite tier 4 tank, it have great penetration, dpm, and camo. Even so, seldom players play it in HK server, most of them choose to play the Hetzer or the Matilda.

Just a quick reminder that there used to be a level 3 TD called "Valentine AT" with 370 alpha damage and 47 mm. of pen (HE rounds) either 250 alpha damage and 110 mm. of pen (HEAT rounds).

The only games i have at tier 5 anymore are in my ikv103 and amx elc. Just novelty tanks that are fun to mess around in

My M2 light with the 20mm cannon is my favourite ganking machine. 100% crew with four skills. The other night I destroyed the entire enemy team. So quick they didn’t even make a kill. I found one on his side. Tried to nudge him back onto his wheels to give him a chance but it counted as ramming damage and he blew up. I felt a little guilty but it cleared all three daily missions in one game.

gotta be honest...if I were to play a tier 4 TD it'd probably be the SU 85b...this thing is just outragously good

I like to play the alecto from time to time Specially if I have really bad game streaks where everything that can go wrong will go wrong But its a little overpowered its like having a e25 at tier 4 I once tested my alecto against a tier 5 or six scout tank and it didnt spot me untill it was in autospotting range (I use camonet and also almost have 100%camo crew and using tea) Its ridicoulous, but luckly Im a mediocore player so even if I get high damage results from time to time I rarely carring games like quicky did here

Shoot the B2 where the captured B1's hull cannon was covered over. BTW, the KV-2(R) is the captured version, they just won't put it in the German line up.

Quicky, fire up an NA account, or watch a friend who has one, and queue up for tiers 4 and below. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Certain times of day, there is less wait than for higher tiers to get a match. Lower tiers are populated by clubbers, mediocre burnouts with thousands of games, and only a few actual seals. Where did they go? Well, quite simply, they used blueprints and got the hell out of low tiers as fast as they could. I mean, there are clans here on NA that exist ONLY to seal club. One of the players I ran across has an EIGHTY EIGHT overall win rate in 15 thousand games. (He platoons in things like the PZ V/IV, t-28E with the 85mm, or the BT-2, with other seal clubbers. He used to be part of ***** [Redacted to avoid "name and shame"], but last time I saw him in his pz V/IV, he was in another clan. He says he likes likes stompingreal players instead of bots, so he avoids the South America Server, because a bot doesn't know when they are beaten.) Problem is, Wargaming actively encourages it. NA has sold the Pz 2j numerous times this last year, along with other low tier power tonks. They give away low tier fun tanks, and people wonder why new player retention is so abysmal.

I understand your point regarding skill levels, however I have started to check the teams experience at the end of battles. Many players in the 30 to 90 thousand range at tiers 4, 5, 6. I play a Marder 38T at tier 4. It's not seal clubbing when you have to face tier 6 field modified tanks of players with 90k games. I always make a point of praising lower experience players (low means less than me at 25k) for their good game, play or score, after the battle. I have also changed my mindset since the sub 5 min 15 - 5 loss or win game we have now. Win or lose just do my best and if I do more damage than the HP of my vehicle, happy days. I have tier 10 tanks but it's just no fun shooting gold at each other round a corner somewhere for 2 minutes. Have fun, if you can.

It's not a clubber, but I love my tricked out T20. I'll admit, sometimes you do feel like you're looking down a hole in the ice, but it's just the big gun. I found a platoon of Hetzer when I was driving my new holiday ops gift. That platoon did unholy things.

As a mediocre, mediocre player, I can say that low tiers even make me feel bad but sometimes you need to take off the stress of this bad game. I use low tiers to relax and actually enjoy the little bit of game that is left to enjoy. I do play my Leaf Blower a LOT for that exact reason.

Its a game. Some people will get mad at you for playing low tiers but its a game. Have fun. I recently got my first tier 8 tank but I hate high tiers so much with all the hull down tanks. The best tier imo is tier 3. Can't meet tier 5's and I'm good enough that (with gold ammo) I can handle tier 4 tanks like the pz B2 and matilda

I must admit I do like my tier 5 games but using the 105 derp on all the tanks that can use it (No gold rounds). Not all the time but sometime the game drives me to go for the DERP.

Interesting. I got my 10 kill battle on the same map, using nearly the same tactics, but this was so long ago that the tier 2 T18 was still the king of the game, and I probably had less than 1000 battles at that point. Never have gotten another 10 kill battle since. Couple of 9 kill battles.

I started playing Wot, mainly due to my interest in the real ones. Mainly from WWII. I have almost every tier X I could want now. But I have hated the power creep etc. I consider tier 8, a complete mess now! Do not get me started on the Mario karts... Because of my historical interest. I have found myself slowly buying back the lower tiers. It is such a shame that the genuine WWII tanks are such low tier. A particular favorite of mine is the PZ III K. OK the gun is not quite right? However as the PZ III was certainly a major tank in WWII! It is such a shame that it is down at the low tiers, & so easily passed by & forgotten! I feel the same about many of the other historics as well. As WG takes the p out off it's player base more & more. I find my interest drawn back to the realish tanks. Much less so, to WG's next power crept made up fantasy money grabbers... Cheers

Tho I have still not bought a Churchill gun carrier... They actually genuinely made 50, off those... Though they had enough sense, not to send them to the front...

The only reason i play low tiers is to ace tanks and to complete daily missions. But some tanks are hard to ace at low tiers because there are players who only play low tiers. It took me over 200 battles to ace the pz II. Now my hardest tank to ace is the tier IV Chinese TD because there is a player with over 3000 battles in it.

i have tried to build up my T40, not sure why but i like to play it the most

Low tier is the easiest way to grind credits and xp on a ftp account. The repair costs are way more manageable.

FINALLY THE ALECTO

I can't find it in any of the stores... would love to have it. I play my T87 a lot and enjoy it but rarely have this kind of success. It is fun.

Two years later, just added the Alecto to my seal clubbing choices (don't feel guilty because most players do it), I prefer the 25 pounder gun on it the best, bit more alpha for less accuracy and velocity than the 6 pounder gun you used but not as slow reload and low pen as the howitzer

Pz I C before hp buffs to low tiers was a deadly hunter also I loved Covenanter before introduction of British light tanks, with Pom Pom on tier IV he was killing everything in 2 mags, unless you met some of those filthy seal clubbing premium tanks that have armor like KV-1 on tier III-IV

My favourite low tier tank was the hezter before the he needs but now I love the T40 idk why but I love it

T40 use to be one of the most OP tanks in the game. Still fun but not nearly as good.

@@user-gc9ym7cz4n It used to have 400m view range and all td's had class bonus to camo after firing. You could kill most tanks from far away without them having any change of spotting you.
