Fun Fact: At 00:51, if you turn right in the lava, you'll see what looks like a normal cubby. Go in and you'll realize there's a slim hole. Drop down and it'll bring you straight to boss. Nice shortcut.

@@PerfectMo If it's the second chariot that's running you over, right at the end of the corridor as your running over a pit, that's because your supposed to drop down the side of the pit and land on a ledge. Saw alot of bloodstains there.

Guys the armor is Elden Lord Crown, Blue Silver Mail Armor (Altered), Malenia's Greaves, and the gloves I think is Bull Goat Gauntlets. not sure.

I’ve been trying to use bloodhound step on the chariots for a while now and if you can quick step through them it must be incredibly tight timing cause I can’t seem to get it. It seems raptor of the mist is the safer and more reliable option

If you time it really well, you can do a jump towards the chariot while its moving up towards you and go through the chariot unharmed I havent really practiced it, but i managed to do it twice by luck

You can use a specific Holy type shield skill to grant yourself invincibility too, it costs more FP than the other ones though and I think you can get pushed by the chariot since you are standing when you use it and glow yellow.

Man, I remember my first time going through this area, I was so nervous of being hit, I was using golden vow and black flames protection with the physical protection talisman, miraculously the chariot only did half of my hp so I ran through the whole area, even running head first into the chariot to progress the area, I felt like a mad man, I'd rate this area 10/10

Curious: how much HP did you have, and just how potent are Golden Vow and Black Flames' Protection? I was sitting at 1216 and still got one-shot by it. From the amount of damage it does to enemies, it does over 2000...

@@xubchillin1616 i didnt even know about raptors of the mist until like NG++, before that I would just get tanky as hell with as much damage resistance as possible then the chariots would only take like a quarter of my health and I would just chug some estus every other time I got hit

There's a stairs where you can climb and jump on top of the chariot. it has a platform that's safe to jump on top of, and ride it like it's a mount :)

You know in the tomb where there's multiple chariots margits shackle will transport a 3rd crashing them all and giving you a set of armor

I was wondering about Bloodhound Step around/ through them. But here I am sitting on that spell on both of my profiles and completely overlooking it.

Only other time I've seen someone run a claw build like me.. i love how quick and agile they make u! When fully leveled and your stats rocking they really tear stuff up. And always raptors of mist everything with chariots

I also found out that if the chariot is coming towards you quickly save your game and exit or get DC. When you jump back in the chariot is gone.

A thing I found out is that if you equip the talisman that reduces damage taken at full hp (can't remember the name) you can tank one hit from the chariots

@@gsc8713 Saves you from spending that much levels in vigor, unless you're going for a tank build which doesn't matter in endgame where bosses can two shot you even at 70 vigor (tested it) I stopped leveling vigor at 45 and I'm doing fine. You can still increase your health with talisman and great runes anyway, if you really want to.

I can't do without Bloodhound's Step, it's SO nice. Fastest way to move on foot when speed is important (like Radahn, or in Scarlet Rot, or whatever), and _much_ more casual damage avoidance than using normal dodge rolls. I suck at the game, but Bloodhound's keeps me alive anyway. :D Btw, it's an ash you can put on any weapon that takes them. You get it from the Night Cavalry near the "farming boulder," there are guides on how to do that even at low levels.

I spent a little while testing vow of the indomitable for iframing past the chariots but was sad to find it didn't work (or I'm just bad at timing) but very happy to see that raptor of the mists does :)

On a side note, you miss out on a few pieces of equipment and armor if you do this to breeze through the chariot parts of the dungeon. Some of the dungeons need you to make them crash or explode to get the items

Not in Gelmir. Gelmir is the one specific grave where this is both relevant and ideal cheese if you can do it right. And in the other graves you need to get through them to even reach the kill traps, so yeah.

An ash of war is an ability you can assign to a weapon. He's using two them: Lifesteal Fist and Raptor of the Mist. These can only be used on Fist type weapons like those claws. Since only one ash of war can be equipped to one weapon, he got another set of claws in a quick weapon slot which he's cycling through, thus being able to use both of those abilities. The Lifesteal Fist ability plays an animation 3 second long in which the player can't move but, becomes invulnerable to everything. And Raptor of the Mist ability is a kind of quickstep ability where the character briefly phases forward and is able to go through things. Your first ash of war will be found in the camp near the site of grace where you're given Torrent (your horse). You'll also find the Whetstone Knife there which is used to equip ashes of war onto your weapons. Then once you're at the roundtable hold (you'll naturally be prompted to be teleported here), you can speak to the blacksmith there who will give the option to assign ashes of war to your weapons.

P.S., there's a really over powered ash of war you can find early in north Limgrave, on the east side, in a fort. You'll just need to defeat its commander though.

@@henrylostaunau9075 Bloody Slash which is found in Fort Haight. It's basically a more down-to-earth version of the Rivers of Blood Katana's ash of war called "Corpse Piler". In my opinion the Corpse Piler is one of the best ash of war in the game, however you'll need to get the katana which is only available late game. The next best thing to it is the Bloody Slash which you can get at level 1. It's to be noted though that this ability consumes both FP and HP per use, so putting points in both Vigor and Mind is a good idea.

Something I noticed is the lava pits have these little flat spots that the player can hide in to dodge the chariot. Figured that out when a skeleton survived by falling in.
