Driving of the Exige was amazing to both witness and hear! DK was smashing it pretty hard in the 86 too.

へー、ZX-12RのエンジンじゃなくZZR1200なのか。キャブ仕様を狙ったのかな。でもハヤブサはインジェクションだし… しかしバイクメーカー製のが約２台とか胸熱過ぎる

I mean, if they would've used a JGTC GTR, it could _maybe_ be considered a "light weight car." They would have to modify the engine to make it a fair race though.

You seems like little lost or idiot... The GTR is a heavy car, and they put it there to let you see the difference beetwen light and heavy cars....

@@hybridAbsol ¿Who cares weight distribution? Tittle say "lighweight". Anyway 50%/50% is not the best. Anyway is fun put a GTR35 for comparison.

It would be a complete test with an atom and super7. Love these Super awesome Best Motoring shoot-outs, now even western car youtube channels does those shoot-outs as well... Well Best Motoring was first and still the best :)

Anyone who's driven a Radical at even half of its potential would've bet money on it winning.. They really are quite incredible.

Anybody with a brain would've bet money on the barely street legal GT race car. The only reason it's street legal is through loopholes dealing with kit cars. Easy win for the radical.

Wow ! Nice mashup. AE86 and Lotus Exige are truly impressive when you see them in the same race as the Radical and GTR.

Absolute Zero The Exige got a full carbon fibre body (clams)! So it‘s quite heavily modded, too!

@@grossmeister1181 Heavily tuned Exige? That's Nonsense, a bad one too, It's mid tuned, not heavy tuned, the stock Exige already can blow the Stock AE86 out of the water, so no it's not heavily tuned, & doesn't need to, unlike the AE86 which is a weak car, so it needs tons of heavy modifying

Since they could bring in foreign cars to Japan, it shouldn't be a problem. Have Orido in that T Rex since he used to dreamed of being in NASCAR.

Yamaha's collaborations had gave us the engines we know and love today. A Yamaha co-developed engine should've been the Mk V Supra's.

Gtr is fast, but force in every corner, all tires early stressed, cause the weight. Understeer

What habe they done the elise/exige that it is do much faster than the 2-eleven

I called the Radical for the win, but maaan that driver in the exige can drive! He upshifted as quickly as the sequential in the radical! If he could downshift as quickly, I think he couldve beat the radical.

No Radicals downforce is superior, that's the main reason why it's so fast compared to other lightweights

They're having fun, nothing at stake here. These guys are fierce competitors in the JGTC series. No smiling there

Without race tyres and suspension the GTR still came in forth! Nice seeing the 4WD system putting that 1800kg pig flying past cars that are half as heavy.

Guess that post gentleman's agreement has given it the power it needs to reach that ideal power to weight ratio and it became successful depite being almost as heavy as an American muscle car. How did sales actually went in local market? Did it sold better than the R33?

近年はニュル最速がどうのこうのを謳うけど、一般人じゃそんなポテンシャルを引き出せのは無理。 ブレーキングとか基本的なドライビングテクニックを磨けるのがライトウエイト。 どうやったら早く走れるかもちゃんと考えられるので、ドライバーも育つ。 また馬力だけの直線番長をカモれるのもいい。

ラディカルSR8LMよりニュルで7~8秒速いだけで倍くらいの金額するからなぁポルシェは まぁ日常で乗り回すなら圧倒的にポルシェのが使いやすいんだろうけど

ハチロクだけN2のレースマシンか〜 当時の新車価格で計算してチューニング費用入れても安い部類に入りそう（笑） 今の相場なら高い部類かな(；´Д｀)
