Very helpful tutorial Marlon. I look forward to incorporating this technique in the slew of images I have from our recent trip in Tanzania! Constant changes requires constant learning!

It’s so good to stay pliable in our photo journey, to learn as much as possible! Soak in all the new things you learn, try them out. Keep what works & discard what does not. Hope this works for you; let me know :)

Hi Marlon. Thank you for another great video. I appreciate the step by step instructions that are easy to follow. I also appreciate the 'one-stop shopping' of doing denoise and sharpening in Lightroom, rather than going out to Topaz. I find when comparing Lightroom denoise and Topaz denoise that Topaz is a bit heavy handed for denoise and sharpening. What has your experience been?

Yes, thanks for the kind words! I’ve never enjoyed using Topaz, although most tend to use it. I preferred DXO Pure Raw. But now, I think Lightroom can give you the best results overall, and it’s such an easy user experience. Topaz always rendered artificial images. The background is often super soft, yet grain remains on some parts of the image. I find DXO & Lightroom to both be better. And DXO & Lightroom, it’s so close. I now just keep it all in Lr, simpler. And to be honest, I think we can overthink this too, haha. Let me know how this works for you!
