I’m currently level 85 on my human lightning storm Druid. So far I’ve built the paragon and skills roughly how you have them so far so I’m kinda proud that I’m close to a top builder 😂. Soon as I get these kids down, I’ll make some changes and then test it out 😊

Hey so i have really only played pulverize with Druid. It’s fun, but i really need to mix it up. I’m lvl 75 no tempest roar yet. Can I play this without it and still feel pretty good??? Druid has always been the most appealing class but I can’t do pulverize much longer lol.

I'm doing the Icyveins guide for my werewolf lighting build and it's really confusing and hard to get, but your build looks really good, I'll try it when I get the helm since I already have the zenith ring

Everything's been pretty easy to get other than the tempest roar, that piece will take some grinding or trading to get.

why does no-one use earthern might with the aspect to affect storm skills? my main problem is im out of spirit all the time even with max roll tempest roar, surely the earthern might proccing full spirit is nice no? guess i will have to try my own build

moxsy all I hear from the best players like you is its so easy and after 10 cast of lightning you are down 10% mana. HOW IN THE F does no streamer ever have a problem with resource

Do you think I could implement Ring of Starless Skies into this build? Or would it be worse?

Just dropped my tempest and I’m changing from pulverize to this at level 58. I have hunters zenith, so resource isn’t a problem with mobs because of trample. But where does the spirit come from when bossing? I haven’t even played with the build yet because I had to go to work. Just thinking about it now.

Get a +6 to spirit per second or better yet 2 of them.. problem solved, I also put on the umbra +6 for bosses.

I watch many druid videos of yours and appreciate them all but I want to challenge you to make a lightning storm build that can navigate the pit.

Just a point, to activate the two passives Circle of life and Resonance, you must use a earth skill before to get the bonus dmg up, so is better give up Wind Shear and pick up Earth Spike, right ?

I did the build a little different, primarily because I wanted stuff elsewhere. But I grabbed up Blood Howl instead of Debilitating Roar. Primarily because I don't feel squishy so I didn't feel like I needed Roar & needing to spec into 2 more points to get the heal when Blood Howl has it off rip for ME, was a better decision/more worth it. Still trying to fish for a +3 Envenom amulet with % willpower which has been difficult as fuuuck. I got lucky that on my Stampede ring. I got the increased affix on max life & crit chance.

Debilitating roar is better when you get wild heart hunger(boots). Being able to 100% the uptime on the 6stack is immense damage.

@@evhoRoLL I mean.. You can literally keep the uptime of the damage boost via Trample. Cause Trample transforms you into a Bear as well. You don't need Debilitating Roar.

How are you keeping your spirit up while bossing? I have no problem going infinite if theres trash mobs but if its just a boss I have to put wind shear back on.

@@1falex1 Trample gives 40 Spirit on use & you can technically use Trample two times in a row so 80 Spirit. But having Tempest Roar, Resourcefulness elixir & having resource regen/cost reduction. I have next to no issues at all

leveling my first end game druid alt as wolf storm. i have a question regarding hunters zenith and mad wolf's glee. i got lucky and got glee around level 70 it has been great with the movement speed im blasting through dungeons. now im 79 and just killed thing he dropped the zenith. my question what is the interaction with the chest will i not get the kill stuff with being mostly wolf except when casting pet stuff. is it better to get more aspects with the chest slot and not keep glee. its all new for me. dont hate. lol

i keep mad glee in inventory but added juggernaut onto a chest piece. Once reaching level 90 I was having a hard time with survivability

why does ur build link that says no tempest roar setup lead to the same exact one has the optimized build (with tempest roar)....

Think mad wolf would just be more damage if you can handle not having the defenses from a regular chestplate.

Your no tempest roar leveling to 100 has no paragon board in the build guide, just a heads up. I’ve been winging it and getting sort of folded sometimes. (Before anyone comments ‘CaNt YoU Do it YoUrsElf’ - yes but that’s not the point of the comment is it?)

sadly this build i bet still need the unique and stuff never do this build witout the final gear the rest doesnt really matter just loot until u have the gear i tried moxy builds before and it never was that hot and some key glyph but the glyph dont need that much to be place as the end version as u would need the end gear but not much stats just the end gear for aspect and unique ull be set just use a powwrfull starter meanwhile trust me just like what hes saying at 7:48 just dont do it farm the gear first its really not worth

That's my biggest issues right now is boss fights like Varshan. I can't cast and it makes it harder.

Been using your build from level one. Now I'm in the 80s and it's impossible to get a rotation really going because I keep running out of spirit. Any tips, at this point I'm thinking I need to keep wind shear in. Some help would be great.

4 spirit per sec on chest and boots helped me. Doesn't sound like a lot but it helped tremendously.

Im lvl 26 with LS and it feels amazing. Absolutely clearing Helltides haha🎉

I am having horrible sustain issues with lightning storm. I played it last season and had zero resource issues. It works great clearing hordes - 100% resource replenish, but as soon as it is single target you are running around waiting for trample to recharge. It is especially bad due to the number of encounters in Helltide where you are fighting 1 very powerful enemy, which is the focus of this season.

It's rough until you get a mother ring, some affixes that give spirit on kill and get ancestral guidance paragon board. Around natural attunement you can pick up some spirit on kill nodes and on lust for carnage board you can pick up the lust for carnage node which gives spirit on crit. Which all help a ton. I'm never less than full doing dungeons and helltides unless I'm doing a really high level boss.

@@baconoverlord7982 Yep that is the problem. The special bosses will have you running around unable to attack after a few seconds. It can mob continuously since there are a lot more crit/CC procs. For taking on the damage sponge bosses, this build, as well as the tornado one, require high rolled gear with spirit per second on chest, skill resource reduction on weapon, and resource regen % on ring. Then all have to be mastercrafted very high with hopefully lucky procs. I switched to the tornado build, because by level 100 I still did not get the storm gloves. I am already up to L40 pit with high rolled gear, but I am still resource starved on events like Helltide Summon due to no trash spawn to proc Zenith. It also doesn't help that other people can get the final blow and block your proc also. It would really help if there was a glowing border on the skill to let you know that Zenith proc is active also.

Im almost all geared up (everything except for the unique ring) and at level 84 I cant even last more than a few seconds in the first damn room of the Pit (the initial level) before being one-shot. I died like 3 times in a row in just a few minutes and gave up. Weird.

Hey, Moxy. I AM melting low level Helltide bosses BUT the RITUAL boss is SOAKING me HARD as I am getting compounded by fire rings trying to lightning storm. HOW DO you survive the ANNINDA (sp??) waves?? Even trying to "stay wide" and long-shot her has been a fail AS I aggro too many mini-mobs and she "flashes" to my location and one-shots me so FAST I can't see her attack form??? I HAVE NOT tried loafing up on fire resistance YET, BUT, THAT'S next.

@CarlValiquette Agree; piecing drops to fit. Melted Varshan v1 (need stygian drops for v2; where??) in under 30 seconds multiple x now; dropping 70+ poison/ shadow resistance by potion and jewels made me untouchable, and I melted him. Before the resistance added, I was getting one shotted in 10 seconds, no matter how much maneuvers applied. Helltides are running better, too, with better maneuvers and outrunning stacked fire in "werewolf original" form. Thinking about stacking fire/ shadow resist same manner, so I can re-apply "stand in place 3+ seconds". Right now running "companion x # x 12%" with "added companion", but IF I can HOLD vs run to avoid the stacks??? Just filled Legendary poisoning in ParaBrd. Looking for "Boss/resist needed" list. Gems switching to fire/shadow is next test for HTz. And, tyvm, for the advice.

The thing is, for 45 crit chance clarity skill buff you need to hold down LS button. But you actually cast 2x faster when spamming that button...so clarity is lost and wasted then. I will take something else instead.

All you gotta do is hold the button til you see like 3 bolts then you can spam it. You missin out on major dps not using it 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm looking for one that's pit viable. Lightning storm has amazing clear but does no boss damage, ended up having to go full close-damage tornado build.

Side note a thunderstruck bonus if 100% is absolutely insane. Prior to the season, if you were 50%-60%, you had pretty good rolled gear. This is just goofy 😂

i used starless on my human LS build, then changed it for more dps. Actually, uniques still have their pre-season 4 affixes which are underwhelming compared to tempers on regular stuff. The only mandatory uniques for human LS are arlequin crest (making human better than werewolf imo) and unsung ascetic wraps (double damage on crit).

Wasn't the shapeshifter glyph an extra chance? If you have 75% Crit, you wouldn't have 100% with it activ. Instead you have a 75% chance and you have another 25% Chance. (or vice versa). So basicly the effect gets weaker if you have a lot of crit.

Dont all these minions do alot of damage too? i mean for Necro it does, and you using alot of X multipliers. ????

I got lucky and got the unique gloves from a cache in T3

Werenado is a joke. It's like poison rain in POE. Attack, then push through the mobs because they haven't died yet, then go back a couple screens later to get loot. It's powerful, but it's also annoying. Plus Watching them struggle with Duriel at 100 is kind of sad.

The non TR link/build has a TR. Any ideas?

Where is the human form paragon planner?

Your planner link for NO tempest roar takes you to the planner WITH tempest roar.

I do not understand the hunters zenith synergy with tempest roar. Tempest Roar says "Your BASE Storm Skills are now also Werewolf Skills" and lightning storm is NOT a base skill but a core skill. Shouldn't they rephrase it to "your Storm based skills"?

Three things that suck about Lightning storm druid: 1. Resource management is a struggle on bosses until you hit about 80ish and have your paragons sorted out. 2. You kill everything on the screen at once (far better than werenado), but then you have to go pick up loot. Annoys me that we still don't have a pet for that. 3. World Bossing is really rough until about 80ish and you get most of your paragon sorted out.

Lightning storm is a great human starter. I'm level 67 and I just got tempest roar. Don't need tempest roar at all, but it does make spirit regen better. I was managing fine in openworld. I don't plan on min-maxing lightning storm as I have a 100 golem necro for torment bosses but druid is surely fun.

Is human style tanky?playing hc

You need the helmet

The maxroll written guide link you have in the description has a fairly significant error in it that leaves anyone following it (particularly the paragon board in the link) with a serious spirit issue. Under the paragraph on resource management the text refers to the use of Lust for Carnage as a means of generating spirit. This is not only not in the paragon build in the same page but the board for it isn't used. The Paragon board on the Build Planner link is correct however so anyone struggling with spirit, on boss fights particularly, will benefit from checking that board layout if they followed the written link.

@@CarlValiquette I think you need to re-read what I actually posted. I am highlighting the fact the written guide refers to the use of Lust for Carnage in text but the Paragon information on the page doesn’t even have that board. I’m honestly not sure how you could have misunderstood that.

After 300 hrs. I finally found a Tempest Roar and the gloves in the same hr. Praise the sun ya'll!

nothing against the guy but maximus baldus had the craziest li9ghtning storm build i was doing high tier dung and somebody came in the game so the difficulty went up to the roof everybody died they all add meta build and i was still flowing the fck up never noticed the spike cuz the other guy came witout telling us it was fckg crazy ..vampire season i think

It currently doesn't drop from bosses which sucks. The best place to get one would he Helltides or buying one from a Player (they go for almost 1 billion gold). Droprates will (hopefully) be fixed within the next 12 to 24 hours, so i would just wait for the hotfix and farm for it afterwards. If you drop one now, selling it might actualy be the better option since 700+ million gold is massive, especialy now.

Just curious what is the point of putting skill point into WIND SHEAR if you not going to use it on your combat????

I just dont understand how to keep a druid alive on hardcore lol The vampire season it was easy cause you could generate fortify on hit with one of the vampire nodes. Theres just no way to do it well. No way to generate proper shields either. Unless Im missing some glaring thing lol
