They could’ve just got infinity flyer trains which can launch but they went for this option

That’s what they should have done in my opinion because that was the whole point of lightning rod that it was a launched wooden coaster

I'm not entirely sure, but I read somewhere that the Infinity Flyer trains are only designed for -1.0 G of airtime. However Lightning rod definitely generates stronger airtime. Especially warmed up on hot days.

Lighting rod had moved down from number 1 in rhe park in my opinion

I was waiting for the gag elements to start but they never did and now I’m confused

This change ruins Lrod. It doesn’t have a great layout. The main good part was how fast the elements were taken in the wooded setting at such a high speed. I doubt this coaster could ever be #1 in the park again.
