The zipper cakes are always fun to watch, but gotta agree that the price point just keeps them out of the shopping cart. These are much better than the 180+ pearl giant roman candles you get for $20-30 though hands down.
I've learned SO much about fireworks watching this channel. Given, I started off by watching the Oftlerer but he has such different stuff. I didn't know much of anything about cakes or even some of the smaller stuff including novelties. I download these and watch them at work as I have time to kill. I like that the money you make goes back into buying these fireworks.
I like zipper cakes but honestly, for a bunch of roman candles, I don't think it's a great deal.

I love zipper cakes, but the cost is just too much. The complexity of the cakes makes the production costs so high. 192 tubes vs 9 tells you all you need to know. But you can get small 200g zippers that will give you similar performances. Granted, they won't rip like the big boys, but the cost is usually under $20. Motor Mouth from World Class, Fireworks Fiesta by Black Cat, and my favorite 96 shot Lil' Zipper by King Bird are a few. Also, Bug Eyed that you shot recently is usually reasonably priced.

They ran for 130 to 150 in my region. I am sort of new to lighting my own fireworks shows. The city I used to live in never allowed them since we were always in drought. So I just don't know about rigging my own tubes and such. Though they aren't massive, I like them as a mini finale, with a few other things. But 130 doesn't seem too bad, depending on which one you get.

Zippers like the big ones like jumbo jumping jacks that make the most amazing sound in history I had one fly straight twards me instead of up and it it me right on a nerve on my elbow I couldn’t fell my arm for awhile but I still love them

Very very impressive but like domino day, over very quickly. Beautiful colours and tails. I don't think video does it justice as we can never hear how they sound in real life. Great video as always. Maybe look into drones one day for display. I think they are the future of displays unless they can create environmentally friendly chemicals for fireworks. Thumbs up also for regular content. I'm glad to see you are shooting these off in a secluded area. We have a couple dozen neighbors that do it from their back yards in our subdivision ...... and do it several nights before and AFTER each holiday. Household pets suffer greatly!! Not Cool People!!

Yeah. $200-$300 apiece is a bit pricey but if you can afford it, then punch it! I bought a few good finale cakes, but $300 for three. Unfortunately, prices went up a bit this year.
