Lightbar Highlight: Tomar Heliobe 930N

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is a short demonstration of my Tomar Heliobe 930N lightbar. This is a simple bar, used a lot in TX and AZ back in the day. I decided to paint the body of this bar black, for a more sleek look. I like the way it came out, compared to the sunburnt white ends caps that used to appear on the bar.
No lightbar shown in this video are for sale.

Fairfax County VA used these on their police cars. They were super bright but very heavy. They would burn through power supplies pretty quickly as well.

Texas and Arizona used them a lot as well. You are right.... they are extremely heavy. Even my LED version (without a strobe PSU) is still very heavy.

I have the exact same light bars I got two of them if you can send a link or post link or contact me that would be awesome so that way I can figure out how I need to wire these up cuz I'm in the towing industry and I ended up getting to these down here in Texas and I can run red and blues as long as I'm stopped but I'm actually planning on running red and Amber or blue and Amber mainly most likely going to be red and Amber along with my wight

My contact info is listed here on the page... but the easiest way to figure out your particular bar is to test it. Connect the black wire to ground, then one by one, start touching each individual wire to positive, and see what happens. Good Luck!

These used to be popular in western Canada also. Vancouver, BC Police and Calgary, Alberta police used them and a few RCMP cars in western Canada used them, but RCMP mainly used Code 3 LP6000 bars and Whelen Edge strobe bars.
