You never fail to impress me

Acrylics! I have a love hate relationship with them. Oils I love but acrylics dry so quickly. It can be a pain but here you show that this quality can be used to advantage. Having watched this I'm. going to get out my set and give them try. I' ll never lose my preference for oils but this refreshing video is encouragement to work in an alternative medium. Your videos are great. I'm. a keen follower of your work. Many thanks.

Charles Peterson hi..I feel the same. But try using a bristle fan..even different sizes ..old ones as well. And makes for nice tree limbs. The entire background can be painted like this one with different colors for dept and such...then fur trees and trunks using the side of fan...so many marks can be made with the bristle fan. At times I use acrylic for underpainting and can even finish entire painting then add oils on top for final notes

My goodness I have to chuckle here. I paint with acrylics like you do! I am painting as if I am using oil paints and it's proper way of using. I know how I use the acrylics many would say you can't do that! LOL I am like I don't care it looks good doesn't it? :) I must have oil painted in another life time Kevin! I never use them in this life reason being I would have never been able to go near them due to my extreme chemical sensitivities! I love your video's Kevin.

Bani Sarkar hi...try not to put out a lot of paint on palette...I don't think it be worth saving. If not stored right acrylics can get moldy.

alaa al ghafour go to the website and you'll find his palette of colors. Also there is a tip section you can find info there. No need to "extend oils."

very nice and beautiful..... but it would be great to add some characters like animals (deer ,birds,etc) but however you paint very gracefully.....

suryaa ks with acrylic painting this method need to wait for them to dry ..as Kevin indicated in the video. You can use a hair dryer on low heat..not cool....to dry if you don't want to wait...

suryaa ks yes, in this video he's using acrylic. If your referring to oils...I wouldn't paint like this you'd get all mud. In this one he painted the background many times..guess he changed mind as he was going...
