THG is the best. He took me from a Ducks fan to a Hockey fan. His channel is a great way to keep up with the whole league while only really watching ducks games.

Between him and the SDPN guys I went from being just a Devils fan to a fan of the league in general. I also blame him for my jersey collection of 1 from all 32 teams lol.

Perfect explanation of THG Channel! Hey took me from a Carolina fan and made me a hockey fan. I've always been a hockey fan obviously. But THG made me follow other teams much more closely and actually become a fan of other teams. THG helps you look at the league's bigger picture. I watch him daily during breakfast.

Love that the Ducks acknowledge The Hockey Guy and treat him well. He is a treasure. I’ve been watching him forever and I’m so glad my favorite team collaborated with him

Here's an idea for Bettman: THG Roadtrip. 32 cities, 32 games, get him a press pass for the booth. Could have him drop in for a quick chat or help call the game, there's a lot of options. I don't know how many new fans he's brought in but he's definitely helped the fan base grow

Shannon initially didn't believe that it was truly Michael Buble who was trying to get in touch with him. I recall a snippet of a meetup video where Buble was taking a break on the sideline and chatting with Yvonne. He has been referred to sometimes as Shannon's "friend who shall not be named."

He's a hockey fan first, and a Canucks, Bruins and Stars fan second. You might remember a guy named Paul Kariya. He was from Vancouver, too. But we're going to have to have a talk after his buddy's fungi admission. Is that where THG gets all his ideas from? Oh, and shoutout to TEG for holding the fort while THG got some well deserved time out. He seems to be getting better with the career videos.

Lol that is a heck of a take.. if only the ducks had become a new franchise again with favorable new rules just like Vegas! You can be mad at Bob Murray for dragging the team into mediocrity but don't say Vegas won cuz they spend money.. ton of teams (like Columbus) who spend to the cap and aren't good..

Lots of people like listening to someone who talks to his audience like a conversation between friends. He also watches every NHL team, so his opinion is rather well-informed. That's why he's popular. I'm sure there's many channels on KZread that entertain you more.

felt the same way at first, watched a few videos, then got completely addicted. i also follow eck and hockey psychology which are both less "boring" but the content is quite different.
