Light Painting at Santee Park - Light Painting VLOG 64

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this episode of the Light Painting Photography VLOG I camp at Santee State Park in South Carolina. I find a cool spot to Light Paint on the water where I do some Light Writing. I also create a few of my Light Painted Flowers and try not to fall off of a log while Light Painting it in the water.

I love the effect of light painting on water. I haven't done any light painting in over a year. I have some ideas I want to try at a pre-civil war cemetery that a lot of my family is buried at. There's a grave surrounded by an old rusted ornate fence under some 100+ year old cedars that would be cool to do something with. Just gotta find someone to go with me.

So you're attaching the colored foil to the plexiglass?

Not attaching it just holding it together.

Also, I notice that you're 'stopping/starting' the light a lot when writing instead of a continuous movement. Is that to control the amount of light in the shot?

This is just to break up the letters. If I was writing in cursive It would be on the whole time!
