IF you are taking more than one link out of a watch band, you should take equal numbers of links of opposite sides of the clasp--NOT take them both off the same side. The way you did it makes your clasp VERY off-center, and it will be uncomfortable on your wrist, and will be much more prone to popping open, due to the uneven strain.
