I was lucky to see Hastings RNLI team practice drill launch and recovery of their lifeboat.
They were more than happy to let me film them with my drone and were quite keen to see the footage, and asked to contact their press office if I was happy for them to use it.
Filmed on a DJI mini 3 pro drone with Freewell ND64/Pol filter and edited in Davinci Resolve 18, no colour grading of the footage, I just exposed in camera as best as possible. A couple of clips were sped up as the trailer moves very slowly.
I had a camera lined up on the beach to catch the landing, but the boat didn't land were it was supposed to, so gutted (I still got the audio though)
music was royalty free from an old editing program.
