assuming he started renting 3 months ago which would be july, the rent would cost him around $3.4k-$4k a month. though i’d assume this unit has to be on the higher side. this is the promenade@the pelikat. there are 2 units available for rent currently as listed on propertyguru.

@@animemachinex3 still expensive. How much he earn monthly to be able to afford a 2 to 3k rental condo? Not to mention condo maintenance fee is a few hundreds bucks monthly. Last time I had to pay 500 maintenance fee when I am still living in condo, now I move out and buy bto.

800sqft is a 3 Room lah. The pool looks nice, and ok to rent such a house. But buy ah, I tell you that pool in 15 years will have waterproofing problem. While I don't agree with this house be it rent or buy, this is why everyone should pack and clean their house, so your house is like a staycation.

Excatly. Now he splurge cause he single, wait till a few years later he found someone he wants to marry. By then, no savings plus this condo is rent, can't even sell it. Though its up to him to spent his money, hope he won't regret it one day.

Is the condo rent? I too am curious how much he makes to afford the place but I disagree with the statement 'y work at tsl if he has rich parents that can afford condo + their place'. I myself also have rich parents who have a few properties but I still work to buy my own hdb. Just cus ur parents r rich, u shouldnt end up be a bum and rely on pocket money ur whole life isnt it? Not everyone with rich parents want/can be a successful businessman or lawyer/doctor...
seriously, what's with youngsters nowadays, got own house don't stay, but go outside rent. I believe such condo, the rent is not cheap.
