It can help to apply to places in person. Even if they redirect you to apply online you can ask them what they look for in an applicant or an employee. Also resume templates help. Even if you don't have experience, you likely have skills and passions that companies could benefit from. Be sure to highlight those and convey what benefit you can provide to their team. You don't need to be special or unique to get a job. Especially an entry level job. The most important thing that I think recruiters look for at that stage is for people who are easily trainable, excited to learn, trustworthy, articulate, and work well with others. I think you would meet that criteria but you need to convey that to the companies you're applying for. Best of luck to you on your journey

From someone who sent over 80 applications... Its really true "The first 50 job applications are just a warm-up" Why am I so drawn to this channel? But I think it's great that you're putting yourself out there and applying for jobs even without prior experience (advice just lie you have experience)... you're handling it well so far

Also dont be discouraged to ask for help for someone to look at ur cover letters and stuff. Try interview prep with ur mom or dad. They will love it.

For the tutoring gig, it might help to ask for feedback from the client about why they didn't continue. It could give you some insights to improve for future clients. I also dont support your self deprecation language. "I don't think I'm going to get hired because she had a lot of other candidates," "I don't think I will", "other people have more experience". Sounds like you have all sorts of psychological baggage holding you back- fear of rejection, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, interalized criticism. Rejection is good because you're finding something better 😃😊

Your videos are very genuine and heartfelt, dont want you to fall into depressive trap. Instead of "I don't think I will get the job," say "Its been tough applying to many places but learning from each experience, which is helping me improve my chances." 👍

Thank you for the kind words! I don’t know what the heck is going on in my brain, I think I am just a little bit neurotic 😭 Mental illness runs in my family, so I’m sure that something is wrong in my brain. But I feel that everyday I am slowly improving.
