Great vlog! I would recommend moving the bed back to the other side bcz there is most likely going to be a cold draft coming in during winter months which would only make you feel more aches and pains :/ Plus it would be pretty hard to clean the dust etc off the windows (you be surprised how dirty they get what with having windows open!) A mirror in the middle would look great! That panelling would have also looked good in your lounge, I wonder why it's just in the bedroom..?! All the paint colours look good, and you can always change it up next year so don't worry!

Hey. Use the rosemary in roast potatoes. When you boil them - add the rosemary. It gives the most amazing flavour. Also use it for roasts (meat roasts not chicken) mint is good in tea, salad etc.

I have endometriosis and had very painful periods too. I've not known people with pcos to have painful periods too? I was misdiagnosed with IBS for years until the pain became excruciating and I booked a private scan, as I knew my body wasn't okay. I had to get operated and get the endometriosis on my ovary removed, and then had to have a mirena fitted to control it from happening again. There's no cure for endo and it usually does come back, so they say if you want to have kids have them sooner rather than later and there is a bigger chance to get pregnant after surgery (If you want to), the longer you have endo, the worse it gets overtime

Thanks for the vlog Annam, enjoyed it 😅 I was not expecting this news, but hope you can get through it. It would be great if you could vlog how you're trying to balance your diet/ routine to manage your PCOS, once you've figured it out. I think it would help the ladies also going through this 😊

I never wanted a mirena or any IUD for my endo but it helped me to get lighter periods and their not painful anymore. I know many people end up hating them and get mood swings etc but its not like that for everyone and in the long run can be helpful. I used to take naproxen and it did nothing for me. Apart from codeine, so you can imagine how much pain I was in.

My periods are also so light now and manageable. Honestly I felt like I was reborn after this and I am so grateful that we have options these days. But please note: EVERY woman is different. I have to be honest, I usually find Annam very fair but the description you gave of how you think you got PCOS and the changes you want to make made it sound like it's a choice or a "lazy girl" illness. There are root causes that are outside of our control and it all comes down to finding those. One hormone could be off and it's triggering all the rest to be off balance. Anyways, I would recommend cutting out dairy and trying inositol.

It seems to me you have both PCOS & endometriosis. Painful periods is not typically a sign of PCOS bc having periods is a good indication. Like you said, it’s mild which means PCOS is making it’s awful entry, since your testosterone is also high. So, be on the watch for that. You may have undiagnosed endometriosis bc sadly, it takes a long long time & a laparoscopic procedure to properly diagnose.

Salam Baji, If you don't mind me saying so: I am going all 'guns blazing' in respect of enlightenment when it comes to mediation. (our 'salah" where Muslim women are pardoned due to the purity of the 'Pray space" ) So, as mentioned regards: "Painful periods" I like to reach out with you to those women in need of some downtime. Decorating a desiccated landscape. I think you should have a room in your beautiful house where only you go to Pray. And when 'time of month' your husband may join you only to do 'Dhikr' with you. In this 'Pray space' you should decorate it with candles and flowers and the '99 names of Allah (swt). Weather you choose it in Arabic or English translation. Somewhere you have your 'Sakina and Skukoon'. And then buy lots of books on science in 'Yoga' and practice gentle breathing exercise before and after menstruation. Also sweet Sister, try to cut down on the spicy foods especially that 'chilli salt' and pan fried butter. And try your best when pre menstrual to go into this 'chill pray space' room of yours and fast Suggest you drink plenty of water. Especially on our fives times a day allocated Pray time. Inshallah hope all is well. p.s apologies if this may sound like info over load. Love Kisses and Hugs xxx

Try to eat organic chicken. Because the chickens are pumped with hormones, which is why there are so many cases of Pcos. Try to get homeopathic medicine and a diet plan from a herbalist. In Pakistan you may have heard of Dr Shagufta Feroz. She is a Harvard graduate. Her practice is based in Lahore. I would highly recommend that you get in touch with her.

Firstly, fruit should be eaten before any meal. As it digests really quickly and if you have eaten carbs and then fruit, the nutrional intake of fruit would be low as its just sits while the stomach digests the carbs. Hope this helps.
