When I was a little kid I was fascinated by the dizzy feeling I got from spinning. I would spin around and then try to walk or behave normally, totally bemused by the fact that I couldn't function properly. I probably looked like a fool. ;) Imagine a six year old kid spinning around and behaving like the village drunkard alone out on the lawn. Wobbling around, falling down on one knee and sliding around...laughing...drool running down my chin etc..

I used to spin as a child. Did that a lot spin and then I liked the sensation after spinning. I even used to like spinning on a swing. I would lay myself in an odd position on a swing spin it around until I felt the rope of the chains on my back then let go and spin fast. As an adult I do like to walk in a circle around a room which I find helps me focus on things especially if I have to concentrate on something.

I like circle walking round a room too, particularly on tip toes :).

Spinning is a nice feeling although I rarely do it. What I especially like is swinging back and forth. There isn't much opportunity for me to do this but one way I do it in a minor way is leaning / swinging back on the hind legs of a chair. Indeed I do this regularly and pretty much automatically when I'm on a suitable chair so I suppose it's a kind of stim. It's not just rocking back and forward which can feel good but just being tilted at an angle. I often think about getting a rocking chair to see if that gives an even greater feeling.
