Big +1 to this. We all love synths because they're fun. We like watching other people have fun with synths. So yeah... keep it fun! It would be REALLY fun to see you experiment with gear combos, since so much modern stuff is intended to work not on its own but with other stuff. But again. FUN! :)

Love your health is improving and the new studio looks neat! ❤ As a person who has been there (not feeling fun anymore) the most liberating thing for me was outsourcing the video editing. Even thought of 5-10 hours editing session was draining my mental energy and I was not realizing it. And then I realized I wanted to outsource even more stuff so I can focus even more on the things that genuinly make me happy. That can help you, too. But whatever happens, I am looking forward to see upcoming videos from you in however form. ✨

Thank you Bo! 👍 Just wanted to say: 1. We love Your all around content 2. You, unlike others, show your human side. Not everyone can know or want to do this. What makes your style unique. 3. You have a lot of interesting insights. And sometimes insights into this field are just as important to music producers or music lovers, such as synthesizers. 4. One piece of advice I would suggest is to upload content that is not necessarily reviews. Like making beats. tips. tricks Not every video of yours has to be a project, it can both make it easier for you and generate a high frequency of content that will attract more followers. Stay strong, healthy, and keep making music! 💪❤

I think the most important is that you're feeling good with your videos. The more you have fun and (again) be the synth nerd, the better your videos are as we can feel your passion and let it be combined with ours. So, meet friends, play around and test the gear in a way that no other youtuber does. With your knowledge about gear, comparisons of older and new stuff would really make sense. But again: enjoy your work and we will enjoy it too!

Watching you being you and having fun is why I'm here. Those videos you made back when you lived elsewhere, the ones in which you were not reviewing anything, not showing us any instruments or gadgets or playing any music, just talking to us about your life, your work, and sharing a bit about your health issues -- those videos engaged and fascinated me. You'd be walking along some semi-rural pathway, apparently alone with simple gear like a small camera or smartphone on a selfie stick with these beautiful golden Autumn leaves in the background. I found those videos so refreshing. It felt like we were two friends taking a walk outside on a lovely day in October, talking about life, the universe, and everything. I love your gear reviews and remain in awe of the time and good work you put into those, but it's YOU -- your persona, intelligence, and playful, good-natured way of relating to us, that keeps me coming back here. I'm so glad your introspection has led you to this insight about the need to have fun again. You, my friend, are back on The Path!

Im sure you get this a lot but thanks for existing, I am an ap erson on the spectrum/adhd and youve felt the struggle of just getting the grasp of everything, I saw your video about acquiring way too many synths too early, obvi not knowing how itd compliment or function very well. you do a great job! thanks for all of this.

I watch your channel because of you, and not the gear. Making it accessible not just to the hard core nerds, but those with a more passing interest. I know fundamentally what I want is to make music, and synths allow me to do that. I buy very little but work very hard, so its nice to watch someone enjoy new gear even if I will never buy it myself. Also love the family vibe - my family have the casting vote on my work and thats a real help - the love comes from everywhere and thats when its gets good.

Hi Bo. For multiple reasons, your channel was always my n°1 go to synth channel. The spontaneity, the simplicity, the fun, the walk & talk about gears and music production, coffee with Bo etc... You made your channel a universe of your own! Please don't make your channel a "reviews only" channel (yes, i like your reviews so much too). Take a gear that attracts you, have fun with it and share with us your fun and what you think about it... And what ? A road in that beautiful nature ?? What is remembered in your report on synthesizer exhibitions is how you convey the atmosphere of the event. That's how I started watching your channel when you made a report not about the boxes, but about the environment, about the atmosphere of the event. After all, there are a lot of people who talk about hardware. And no one knows about the landscape. Bo, I’ve never commented on your channel, but I do think that your presentations are always good. It doesn’t hurt that you have a warm personality and an engaging presentation style. I am surprised that you don’t yet have more subscribers…yet. Your take on synths is a bit different than my own, but since you asked, I look mostly for ideas of how we can use the technology to be musically connected and expressive in the same sense we would use a violin or an oboe, for example. i.e. expressive manipulations of timbre, tone, dynamics, vibrato, etc, instead if arpeggiators and such

"...some of you don't particularly like..." I **do** particularly like these slice-of-life updates. Glad to hear you've got traction on the health front, and looking forward to seeing what cool stuff comes out of the new studio. I'm a rank amateur when it comes to keyboards (I'm a guitarist who weirdly wishes he were Richard Wright 😛 ) and my own studio space has to share an office with ham radio, electronics and lutherie, and a couple other space hogs, so I can't go as hog wild with the music setup as I'd like. That said, I'm inspired when I see sagas like yours or Venus Theory's or Espen's on equipment going in and out, studio setup, etc. Keep up the good work, stay relaxed, and have fun!

I got into synths due to your help. I remembered the playfulness and the joy you showed in your first video. Keep having fun and inspire with what you have, be mindful of GAS. Keep your stock on the ice my brother. Peace and light from Canada.

Thanks for sharing. I like you being a simple real person behind the videos. You have shared your experience with the tech and this is more valuable to me than some of the videos where people go over every feature. I also like how you change and grow over time. I also like that you have had as much trouble getting your studio on board as I have and are still trucking along! I find it curious that you have a psychotherapy background. It is something we have in common, though technically I have done hypnotherapy and process oriented energy work (and still do it to some extent, but am choosing to retire and make YT videos about meditation and lucid dreaming). I do like the ambient community that is slowly building up through YT. Blessings on your journey!

I am a regular viewer not just for the gear reviews, but for your insightful and playful and personal connection to the overall community. Plus, I have a soft spot for anything Swedish - I spend 7 years there, my son just moved to Stockholm and I might just end up there myself. And I can relate to the weather. I'm at my "Somarhus" in the Archipelago of Georgian Bay, Ontario, and some menacing clouds just rolled in. And then they left. And they they came back. And then there was sun. And then not. Just like a perfect midsommer in Sweden.. So keep it playful, inventive and real!

Hell yah! I’m glad to hear things are going better, and that you’ll be focusing more on fun. I think that’s pretty common across many different vocations. I definitely lose sight, a lot, of the fun aspects of my job. As for suggestions, my favorite parts of your videos are usually just watching you jam and come up with songs. You’ve got a very fresh take on making songs, and I find it very inspiring.

+1000 to straying playful and having fun. As a (coming into) middle aged synth nerd myself it makes me feel like I’m watching a video a friend has sent me of them mucking around.

Looking forward to see and hear more from you! I personally enjoy your take on things as I enjoy the different approaches others make. For me it’s the variety of views and styles that I can find in the videos of Divkid, Mylar, Cuckoo, Redmeansrecording, MoltonModular… and in your videos. So keep up the good „fun“! 😜

You said it best: focus on having fun. Music is an art form and we create and consume it to generate feelings that suit our needs. If your good feelings come from having fun, then go for it. And if you're feeling good, then most viewers will feel good watching. I find it inspiring when I see people cutting loose and chasing their bliss. As for what I'd like to see you focus on? Well, I'd like to see you focus on doing whatever it is that you want to do. I expect it will be interesting. There are plenty of resources for finding out the specs and technical characteristics of gear. I think you have something different to offer.

Please be yourself!!! I like it very much when you have fun and when I can see this in your videos. There are so many reviews around on KZread. In my opinion you don't always have to make your own review video on every new synth that is released. Just be self-confident and do what you like! This is why I'm always here. 😊

Tjena, Bo! :)

When I started to get into synth stuff one or two years ago, funnily enough your channel was one of the first I started watching regularly, because it all seemed to be so much fun. And synths can be "just" fun, also for people like me, who have very little talent. We still enjoy the little music-machines tremendously. That is what I like about your channel: the easy-going part. I don't care much about the specs of some new gadget, show me how much fun it is to spend time with it.
