What about ISB Hyderabad? Will students there get the Investment Banking roles? ISB has the most rigorous MBA curriculum compared to IIM ABC, And the Finance Prof. at ISB are even superb compared to ABC. What is your take on it?

@@pallabbandyopadhyay6856 let's also not forget that the situation might be a lot better in a decade, WM roles might start getting offered even at lower-rung colleges by then like NMIMS or MDI. Just have some WM knowledge by then and you might have a chance after all

I'm interested in finance but I am not so good in maths I didn't have maths in my class 11 and 12 I have done Bcom hons Should I go for MBA in finance Or mathematical part will be very difficult for me in mba finance

Finance jobs are very less as compared to marketing and consulting jobs in India , people show rosy pictures like investments banking salaries but the reality is good IB roles is only limited to IIM ABCL, xlri, FMS and everyone can't survive in IB's as you have to work 16-17 hours

@@19.vishveshgupta32 for IB analysts it's probably 16hrs in most companies (some top companies too). I saw it on a website which says it totally depends on your position as an Investment Banker. Working hours per week: IB Analyst: 60-100 hrs on avg IB Associate: 60-80 hrs on avg IB Junior Vice President: 60-80 hrs on avg IB Senior Vice President: Sometimes they're in meetings, sometimes they have to work on the desk so it's somewhere near 40-60 hrs Managing Director: Mostly in meetings so it's less compared to the above position hierarchies.

Private equity is simply put Where a pe fund invest in multiple Private companies and sell it other investors at higher valuation or list it in public markets. Generally 1. Investment bankers 2. Management Consultant 3. Research analyst at Buy side Can get into it. It's related to finance

Brother,I am not demotivating you but even cfa's at top iim abc not getting investment banking roles. Following are the reasons: 1) ibanks look for the best out of best cv . So if you don't have 9/9/9 and very good academic strikes then there are very less chances as your cv gets rejected due to this 2) the ibank roles are very limited and the people who are from iit,srcc are more so if your college is not good you cannot enter gs,ms, and big firms. But having cfa is always good because you will atleast get into boutique ibanks and after gaining work ex. you can do double mba in foreign so that you will easily get into big ibanks

Ye KZreadrs ke hisab se IIM A, B, C nahi mila to zindagi jhand hai... People please try to understand ki inko ek youtube channel chalana hai... They will say/do anything to make money off KZread... Most of the things they say is to attract viewers... I have learnt that whatever you see online, be it positive or negative; should be taken with a pinch of salt.
