Seeing the interior of that 386 reminds me of the company 386 my dad used to drive years ago. Had a Qualcomm, just like that, used to play all the games on there, like Space Pinball, Spider Solitare, Minesweeper... Good times, good times.

What’s the exhaust regin button actually for and when do you use it? And what is that trailer rack lever for when you already have brakes? Sorry I’ve never driven a truck with this things in it thanks.

preach on. I worked for a company that delivered mainly to malls between midnight and 4AM. People living around the malls complained and it got so bad that the company disconnected the Jakes. That was before you saw all of the engine brake prohibited signs. Amazing how many people think those things are "mandatory safety equipment". Talked to one driver and asked him if his Jake broke down on top of a pass, he said he call road service and asked "why risk it going down w/o it?"

A good one ! I would not be able to sleep on hot nights ( or days ) without good cooling on me, that would be a huge problem for me if I were driving big rigs. :(

If it's just a 13 speed, why does it need a splitter button on the shift knob?

When you go from 1st to 5th, you bring the shifter up to the left and you full the range button, and then you split from low to high

To make 56,000 a year with 4 weeks vacation? Probably at least 5 years. There are exceptions of course, but most drivers start out at 32,000-40,000 MAX. Sorry, I'd stay where you are. Being home every night making that kind of money can't be beat
