Life on Mars | Island of Pag | Metajna
"Life on Mars Run" is essentially the name of a race track on the island of Pag near town Metajna. There are several directions, we went from the city harbor and returned in a circle above the playground on the other side of the place, about 16km long trail. About halfway there is a ferrata that you can bypass if you don't want to climb it, it may not be dangerous because there is sea below, so in the worst case you can fall into the cold sea, but it is more demanding because you need to have a lot of strength in your hands, it is tilted to the opposite side so that the legs are tucked inwards, so don't try to climb it without insurance, the insurance was very useful to us, as you can see in the video. We would be happy if you comment on what your experiences with this ferrata were if you were on it, how difficult and demanding it was for you. Apart from this ferrata, the trail is not demanding because there is not much ascent, and the terrain is not bad if you stick to the paved path, if 16 km is too much for you to walk, there are a lot of routes that are shorter so it is suitable for everyone ...

Odličan video i lijepa staza. Ljetovao sam godinama na Pagu, tako da sam ga imao prilike upoznati. Svarno je prekrasan otok pun kontrasta. Tko mu da priliku, sigurno će ga zavoliti. :)

Piękna wyspa, pełne video
Wir waren letztes Jahr dort. Super Wanderung die ein auch einiges abverlangt. Nicht zu unterschätzen. Wir sind dann in ein Unwetter gekommen und sind teilweise Knietief im Wasser gestanden und das auf einem offiziellen Wanderweg. Wir hatten aber alles dabei, sprich Regenjacken und Co.

Prošao sam ove godine cijelu stazu + via ferratu, na žalost rukavice su mi ostale u ruksaku i ferratu sam prošao sa golim rukama (krvavih dlanova). Staza kao staza nije previše zahtjevna i prekrasna je. PS: Ako idete na feratu obavezno nosite rukavice.

Istina, staza je šetnica ali ne bih ju preporučio nikome u ljetnim mjesecima dok sunce prži, a ferrata je zahtjevna jer je nagnuta na stranu tako da su noge uvučene prema stijeni pa na puno mjesta treba nositi cijelu težinu tijela ako nemate sa sobom komplet za penjanje od dva karabinera sa kojima si možete olakšati da vas oni drže umjesto ruke ili kao pripomoć za odmoriti se na mjestima...

In description of this video you have a GPS trail that only goes to start of this rock climbing, and then back, so I thing it is ok for dog, if your dog has no problem with rocky terrain, because one smaller part of this trail is over big rocks, maybe here and there use of hands, you can see this in video and assess for yourself...
