There is a vast difference. MPH is completely into public health and policy making. Whereas community medicine is a broader aspect

Hi, am not aware of the status of the GMC of MP. But still, there are a wide range of learning opportunities online. And there is a lot of scope for subject. If I were you, i would try to get a seat in AIIMS, if not , then in some clg of Delhi or Maharashtra and settling in native state would be a last preference

Sir what will be better to choose cfm or community medicine in aiims And sir what should be the preference for peripheral aiims

Will there be night duties in PSM like in Rhtc's during Residency in AIIMS??? Kindly answer

I had two months of trauma postings with night duties. But recently, PSM residents are exempted from night duty.

In cfm how much part family medicine is ? Because I want to practice as family physician,so for me what will be better doing md cfm from aiims or doing dnb in family medicine from corporate hospital.

Varies across different AIIMS. But in any AIIMS, it won't be more than 50%. So if you want only practice, better take DNB.

Sir does all colleges teach family nedicine also like in aiimss. If so then which all colleges

Only peripheral AIIMS provides MD in Community and Family Medicine. Many premium institutes like CMC Vellore offers Family medicine degree alone.

In AIIMS, gross salary immediately post pg is 1.3 lakhs. In other clgs, it is usually between 80k to 110k as far as i know

There will be family medicine training, but I don't feel it is that well structured. If you are interested in clinical/family medicine, then you can avoid CFM and directly do FM

As of now, postings are in Trauma, Medicine and allied, UHTC, RHTC, Yellow Fever vaccination, COVID vaccination, academics, research projects and field activities.

I always want to do pg in community medicine as I like this subject ,and I'll get in neet2021(30k rank) but my family and people always tries demotivate me not to take this branch, as I can't earn good if I take psm, I'm so much confused whether to opt psm which I like, or again prepare for neet to get a branch through which I could earn too much money

In my opinion, if you are convinced that you can be dedicated towards the subject, you can definitely take. Sky is the limit (for earning too). Again it depends upon how well you evolve in the branch.

Yes definitely it is suitable. After doing pg, you can choose sub domains which does not involve much of a travelling. E.g, if you opt to be a biostatistician/data scientist/faculty, there isn't much of traveling.

Sir what is stipend for CFM pg in peripheral AIIMS ..is it same as Delhi AIIMS or different ??

Stipend is roughly the same across all AIIMS. It's around 1.05 lakhs per month (gross).

I believe it depends on the severity. Better to take an ophthalmologist opinion .

Biostatistics is what is making me go away from PSM ..otherwis it is good
