Life Is Like a Wobbly Top - ASMR

Ойын-сауық

Relax and drift off to sleep as I show you a top that my wife had given me some time back. In this video I also experiment with wax seals.
Below is a link to the top and glass base featured in this video.

Below is a link to a Stamp Seal Kit that I thought looked pretty neat. It's only one of many on Amazon though.
amzn.to/405ENZ8
My videos are best enjoyed using headphones or earbuds.
This is video number 550 of this channel.
The videos on my KZread channel portray some of the typical day-to-day activities that I do for relaxation. This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Too much stress is harmful to your well-being and in today’s fast-paced world, stress management is more important than ever, and so I hope this ASMR video acts as a stress reliever for those watching and a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time falling asleep.
If you enjoy my videos and feel like you get something of value from them, you might consider becoming an official “patron” of my channel over at my Patreon page. This hit me like a ton of bricks. I’ve watched your videos for years and I’ve heard you talk about your wife’s health issues but I was drifting off to sleep when you mentioned her passing and I sat straight up in bed. I immediately felt pain for your loss. I lost my dad a year ago and my mom is navigating the same thing after 60 years of marriage. I miss him so much but I know the impact is so different for my mom. I am trying so hard to support her though all of this but I feel so inadequate because my dad was irreplaceable. I’m sure your wife was as well. You don’t know me, nor I, you, but know I have and will pray for your peace and comfort. I have said that my dad was our true north. It would take a long time for us to find our way again but we are. You will as well in time

@@youdontseeanoldmanhavinatw4904 my journey was years of talk therapy and then a ketamine treatment while I was doing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy at the same time which is what I think ultimately cured it for me. I had my wisdom teeth removed and specifically asked to be put under with ketamine, knowing it’s anti depressant capabilities beforehand, and it worked. Doing DBT therapy at the same time was the perfect mix for me as I had the right mindset for when I got the treatment. I knew I had beaten it because i don’t dwell or ruminate on anything anymore. If I have a thought I don’t like I just stop thinking it, it’s pretty incredible. It’s very easy to move on from any bad thoughts now. They go away as quickly as they come. I took anti-depressants the whole way through as well. Went through a lot of em before I found one that works for me. I still take it in fact, even though the depressions gone. I don’t want to even risk it ya know, so I’ll keep taking em, that’s fine by me.

So very glad to see you finding your own pace. That's a healthy sign. My Nana lost her husband and her world just around when I turned 2. I can't remember that, I have a few fuzzy memories of my grandfather, though. I am now pushing 40 and about to have my own child, a little late to the game. Nana is still with us and she and I have grown closer the older I get. When I got married, she told me so much about my grandfather and her and her wedding and their marriage. Now that we're having a kid she talks to me about that. I know from stories that it was very very difficult for her at first. And I am sure it is at times. But she's one of the most independent, strong people I know. And I know you are like her, though I don't know you, from all of the advice you've given me, either directly in reaponses or indirectly in your videos. A day at a time. We love and care about you, though it's a different kind because we don't really know you. So long as making videos is good for you, listening to them has and will continue to be wonderful for me. I've wondered how you were doing several times and its strange, but in a good way. I'm glad you are doing well. I am no expert, but I thought maybe waiting for the wax to cool a fair amount may work better. Sorry for the long and wandering comment, woke in the middle of the night with a million thoughts, thanks for helping sooth it for what must be the thousandth time.

Good Lord what a treat. Beautiful. I love the horror film sound design in 06:09 when you say it’s made of titanium and open the box to reveal the spin like a haunted artefact - perfectly to the sound of a rolling thunder! It only lacks some hysterical laughter in the background and a flutter of wings of a group of bats❤️

I've always seen the wax dripped on the paper slowly and then stamped . The issue is probably that you melt it all in the spoon and once you pour it on the paper its all liquid . If it drips slowly it has time to cool and solidify but still be soft to stamp it .
