The fact that actual robots are coming is what makes me think the idea they want us to live longer so we can work longer isn't very well thought out. We won't be nearly as good as robots with AI. The problem isn't debt. The problem is interest on debt that is payable to a private company. The gov't can issue debt free money and not have any interest on it and allow people to use it to build the economy. That's the issue.

That's only part of the issue. The other part is exactly what all that debt created money by the government is really being used for. A lot of it seems to find its way into the pockets of elites to buy up every asset possible while the rest of us get stuck with the debt because we can't afford the stuff as individuals and as a country.

Debt is definitely apart of the issue. The problem w the debt increasing is that it gets its value from all the other dollars in circulating and being stored. Whether it's you getting a loan for a house or a gov getting a loan for a war. The loan itself is the creation on money out of thin air. So every time more 'debt is issued', the buying power/value of that debt comes from the people holding that currency. That's why inflation is often referred to as a hidden tax

Gov issuing debt (printing money) is absolutely the problem. Money printing to stimulate demand, loan easy money to masses of kids to attend college, loan easy money to businesses, etc is artificial manipulation of an economy. It always leads to irresponsible risk taking, which translates into booms and busts. Let masses of financially illiterate kids borrow easy money for college = tuition inc. Those mass of kids graduate flooding the job market = the value of a degree erodes over time. The cycle continues as kids walk into the slaughterhouse taking on absurd amounts of debt they cant repay because their over priced degree is worthless. The debt bomb explodes. What to do? Print more money or let it all fail? The same chain reaction applies to businesses, home owners, car owners, traders, etc leveraging easy money leading to irresponsible risk taking until a debt bomb forms and explodes.

i think we all see the problem with issuing more currency at will. that in a nutshell is the prob with dollars. the govt allows themselves to be re-elected by issuing more debt. if there was a permanent ban on printing money things could get better. but i'll stick with BTC until the govts destroy it or it destroys the govt. the govts will soon see it as a real threat to their cushy lives, so expect a coming firestorm involving BTC.

The crux is the interest on those loans- let the gov't issue all the debt it wants so long as it doesn't have to pay interest on it to a private corporation like the FED. Western countries are paying more and more each year on servicing the INTEREST on the loans ; imagine if each payment went completely to the principle? @@grandmasterb7398

@@dlanceshortaging and subsequent death is constantly ongoing in our bodies. Every second thousands of senescent cells are dying and being replaced and replenished with new born cells. This is CHANGE - which is a requirement for life to flourish and evolve - But by no means should be confused with “aging and death” FOR THE BODY AS A WHOLE, which is the gradual degradation of change for the WORSE. This is to be stopped and NEEDS to be stopped. Change is the only constant but positive change needs to be maintained, anything else is a waste of time.

Messing with how we were created is scary stuff. We are regenerative beings when put in the right conditions. Tom you miss his point. He is not saying one can change the immutable laws of physics. He is saying we can harness emergent properties to break our reach beyond our current limitations. But emergent properties require required much effort to harness to take advantage of, and even more to discover, and the discovery of often requires the regression of clarifying the fundamentals first. yeah itss a cool one, there was a digestion panel years ago, it was explained that the bacteria in the back of our mouth covert nitrites to nitrates, and we swallow, and stomach acid converts nitrates to nitrogen-oxide, fueling our nitrogen-oxide cycle, something like that anyways. She says we should not kill that bacteria in our mouth and the mouth is also a complex part of digestion. Chew fools, chew!

Idk if this channel has been compromised or if Tom was just clickbaiting all the time but if you scroll a couple of years back this channel used to be about untapping human potential. It was a very positive and optimistic vibe full of hope for the future and what you could do with it. A lot of success stories and won struggles, lots of guests that were the best in their fields. Now all we see are billionaires and globalists talking about the dark future and crisis around the corner. Sad to see this but makes me think if tom sold out or if he just clickbaited us all this time.

The fountain of youth will come with plenty of problems. Talk to some 36-year-old women who look 26. Many will likely tell you men flock to them yet quickly depart once they speak or share their age. It isn't just the youthful look men want; they desire the inexperience and optimism that comes with youth as well. So, if we all live to be 200, what will life be like for men in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who will now have to compete with men 100+ to get all the younger women? What will it be like for a woman who is 100+ who might have to live an entire century without being desirable to most men? What a brave new world.

Immortality is NOT real! Extended lifespans YES , immortal NO!

Humans will not be able to defy the Hayflick limit for decades even centuries. However with the help of these channels, and you tube algorithms I was able to crack my personal code to extend my life probably by 2 decades adjusting foods, exercise and stress management. Am 20% there and working on it. That may seem low but the average human is probably less than 1%. The knowledge I accumulated listening to hundreds of hours of audio is life changing. Thanks again Tom!!
