LIFE IN UK VLOG 30: Holiday In Jersey, Channel Islands 2024 Part 1
Part 1 of our Channel Island Vlog.
Join us everyone as we are taking you all to Jersey, Channel Islands. We stayed at St. Helier in Jersey for four days. It is a birthday holiday, it is the birthday of my beloved partner.
We visited the beautiful Elizabeth Castle which is located on an island. The way to get there is by a boat bus, and when it is low tide, you can walk the causeway.
We managed to see the Hermitage, the house of St. Helier, the patron saint of Jersey Island. It is located beside Elizabeth Castle. It was worth seeing it.
We also explored the Central Market and had a food there and same as the City Centre, marina, harbour and more..
We had a lovely dinner at an authentic Indian restaurant too then had a drink at a quaint little pub in the heart of St. Helier City.

The caption at 2:30 is St. Aubin, not St. Helier. St. Helier is the capital of Jersey, but is a town not a city.

hi there, what I meant is St. Helier is the capital of Jersey, which we are staying..
the view at 1:40 is actually of France!

Hi there, you know what, that's actually what I thought when I am doing the video editing but then I remember that the plane turned around as its ready to land in Jersey Airport, that big space in there that you can see is Jersey Airport. Thanks

Absolutely right! It is indeed France, specifically the NW corner of the Cotentin peninsula, looking roughly eastwards. The pale coloured rectangle is the nuclear reprocessing plant at Cap de la Hague. You can match it on Google Earth with the video picture. The port of Cherbourg is roughly top centre of the view, hidden by clouds.
