Your videos without dialogue touches my heart deeply (more than any mindfulness videos), the storytelling cinematography is intimate and compelling - the realistic visuals and elements calms my mind and I come back to my senses. Aspic, known as holodets in Ukraine, is a traditional dish with a long history. This cold, savory jelly is made from slow-cooked meat, usually pork, beef, or poultry, and set with the natural gelatin released from the bones and cartilage. The origins of aspic in Ukraine can be traced back to ancient times when preserving food was essential for survival during the long, cold winters. In rural areas, families would prepare and store meat in the form of aspic, which would keep longer due to the gelatin's protective layer. The key to making a delicious aspic lies in the slow and gentle cooking process. Meat is simmered for several hours in water with vegetables and spices, allowing the flavors to meld and the gelatin to be extracted from the bones. Once cooked, the meat is shredded and arranged in a mold or deep dish, while the broth is strained and poured over the meat. Watching Maria's videos after a hectic and strenuous day is very entertaining. Thank you so much🙏🏼 I had serious health issue that I resolved through eating traditional foods and changing my lifestyle. Foods like liver, Sardines are game changers and delicious. Zero processed foods. I prepare all my meals every day from scratch. I thought I would feel burdened by this but I enjoy every minute of it. I love elders too! I am currently living on the farm of an elder I cared for here. My children are grown and I am divorced and I loved every minute here with a fierce and fun loving woman. She passed and the farm has sold and as soon my elder dog passes, I am sincerely interested in visiting other women living such lifestyle. So much to learn and so much to share. This is what makes this life worth living. Wishing so much for the Ukrainian people snd all people living simple lives with open hearts. These are the gems 💎 of our experience🙏🏼
