Abrar bhai. Har episode dekhte hain, lekin aaj aapko likhe bina raha nahin gaya. When you were doing that trip, I learned from you how beautiful Pakistan is. So different from the impression we have from mass media. You have taken us thru so many different countries, and unlike other channels, everywhere you interacted with local people whenever possible. Now in Syria. Seeing how ordinary people get by in difficult times. You are always factual, balanced, optimistic. Today, in Maloula… Main Isaahi nahin hoon, lekin hazrat Isa ki zabaan sunkar aankhein bhar aayein. Kabhi kabhi insaan hone se ghinn aati hai. I love being on a bike too, but I can only imagine the loneliness which occasionally hits the solo long distance traveller. Away from the comfort of home and family; a new problem every day - the price to pay for following your dream, and sharing it with us. Thank you. Khuda aapko aise kumzor banaanewale khayaalonse door rakhe, mehfooz rakhe aur khush rakhe. Allah hafiz.

You should international award ,for showing courage to go to remote areas,where no journalist even dares to go these day !! Your work in Syria will become part of history ,no other way to know how life is recovering after years of destruction! Also ,unbelievable,that people still have kept the original language of Jesus alive !! Hopefully,this language won’t die with time . It’s amazing to listen to Aramaic ! I had assumed that it had become extinct Thanks a lot ,a lot !!

I have fond memories of visiting the church and convent in Maaloula twelve years ago. I am almost certain the young lady reading the Our Father, the Lords Prayer in the Aramaic language is the same one who read it to us back then. It was a very moving experience. I was so pleased to see the church and convent appears to have recovered from the damage it received during the war.
