@@kap849 Mexico 🇲🇽 was beautiful and the people are friendly. I went to Playa Del Carmen & Cancun in 2020 with my whole family & a business team when me & my husband were with a travel company. Just be careful to avoid the parts with the cartels & you should be fine.

Very dangerous at there. Robbery, rape,car jacking and assaults are common. I wouldn't recommend you to go to lae or port moresby. Not SAFE.

@@marionone6434 Papua New Guinea is not bad as some outsiders think. There is no drug smuggling or gun smuggling like in some South American Countries.

was there in 2015 …. it has improved some which is nice to see ! I wanna go back to PNG ! Had a great time there

I'm doing an internship this summer at the American embassy in Port Moresby. This video was a great resource for me to see what the city is like before I get there!

Yap, you got it! The development in Papua is not well organized and all the buildings are mess up. There are no yards for every house. No proper planning and poor traffic system.

@@emielrobert well, I've been to Jayapura in the late 2019, and for some parts of the city....yes, its building (on some parts of the city) ain't really as well organized as the other cities due to the mountainous terrain that make up Jayapura city.... So it's kinda challenging for the locals to develop it. However, I've seen massive structures and infrastructures being built. They figure it out by fixing the roads and avenues, as well as to build more streets and bridges. They even build a stadium, parks, etc...to make the city more attractive. I wish I could share my videos that I took of the beautiful Jayapura to you... On the other hand, Port Moresby are gorgeous too. Well, I've never been to PNG's part before, but I have to say that Port Moresby's streets are somehow tidier than our country's Jayapura (based on your videos)... I love both parts of Papuas, I hope that our cities could beat the other Pacific cities one day, since both cities already got the beautiful scenery. Who knows both Jayapura and Port Moresby could be better than NZ or OZ cities one day.... ❤️❤️

It’s not as bad as what many travelblogs told us about. Imo, Port Moresby seems fine n developed..quite reminds me of some Australia’s coastal cities i’ve been to (a hybrid between Darwin n Geraldton) Those hilly landscape, the blue-watered beach, the Mall/supermarket, even the cars and the License Plate.

It's the demand for bad stories that does it. Stories about gangs and violence and cannibalism sells quicker than good stories. That's why you hear about negative things more than the positive. Come one day and visit, then make your own conclusions. Much love ☺🙏❤
