Life in Japan documentary: the dango rather than the flowers🍡, days of stagnation, cherry blossoms

Hello, hey guys! Thank you so much for always watching my videos🌗
I'm a bit worried because the content lacks cohesion and more than half of it turned into a food vlog(笑)
I couldn't upload any videos for about two weeks. I tried to capture my daily life, but it was just the same routine of commuting between work and my apartment. When I finally decided to make a video, my laptop broke down, and I couldn't edit...💦
I'm really glad I could upload one today!
I also mentioned that I'll be quitting my current part-time job, but I'm planning to go on a trip for a few months (probably 1-2 months). My current plan is to hike in Yakushima and Kumano Kodo in early May, and then visit India, Laos, and other parts of Southeast Asia in mid-May to June. If my savings start to run low, I'll come back.(If you have any advice, please let me know!)
Honestly, there's some anxiety about not knowing what the future holds, but I just can't suppress the desire to go on this trip right now.
I want to capture what I see and feel with my own eyes and share it in my videos again.
I'm really sorry for always causing concern, but I'm fine now!
I'm glad if you enjoyed this.all comments are welcome!
Thank you once again!

Hello! Just found your channel today. I really like your videos because I feel like I can relate a lot. The last 2 years have been rough for me. I was really depressed and stressed. I started drinking a lot to cope with my problems and I was almost kicked out of the Army because of it. I am doing better now but somedays still feel hard. I am not a religious person but this prayer has been a source of strength for me through my hardest times. "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." Good luck Saiko I wish you the best!

Hello Saiko. I'm glad I found your channel. I've watched all your videos and I think it's great that you do this in English! I know it's a challenge but you do a great job of it. I've been an English teacher in Japan and when students used to ask me about how to improve their English, I often suggested simply finding any excuse to actually use it. Again, I know it isn't easy, but you're doing really well! And the more you use it, the more confident you'll become. You never know - it could take you somewhere amazing! I also understand the difficulties you face living alone. I remember feeling that way many times when I was younger. One thing that helped me was my job (teaching) believe it or not. Knowing that I could help people achieve their goals gave me some satisfaction. I hope that you too can find something that gives you the same feeling. Your passion is out there, and you'll meet it someday!

Your editing skills is getting really good. The transition between clips and story telling is smooth. The only thing I would like is for you to slow down on the clips at the beginning and give it an extra second of running time vs fast flip through. You’re a natural at video editing and filming!

So cool! I think a trip and some free time is exactly what you need! Having a job you don't enjoy can really affect your home life too, so it's a good thing you're leaving it behind. I can't wait to see the hiking in Yakushima, I have never really seen any videos from there but it looks like the scenery is amazing! Also, the Katsudon looked yummy. It's hard to find good Katsu in UK. :( I'll have to try the recipe for the Karaage too!

great video again, and I love how the thumbnail is better, the storytelling as well, with a lot of food features! But my favourite part is when you address your problems and how you think about them. It's very personal and that connects with the audience. This time around you are showing some proactiveness and deciding to change things for the better! That's amazing! Don't forget who you are :) and things will get better! Looking forward to more chapters of your life and reality!

Because of your name, you wear glasses, and you're in Japan, you remind me of a character in an American graphic novel/manga. I always suspected the author/artist was actually telling his own real life story about when he was an American-exchange English teacher in Japan. Maybe you are the little girl in the books.
