I recognized the bit in the museum from Chiharu Shiota. I saw her art in Tokyo during my last visit.

Thankful that the winter solstice is soon (December 21st) and after that the days start to get longer. I usually notice the difference (a little bit) after we’ll get to February.

Unbelievable smoothie...My beloved partner Lakshmi, who passed away five months ago, was the master of smoothies and...would have designated you as the greatest! Another awesome video, Daiki, I can't wait to watch the rest!

I am adding comments as I watch...Yes, the melancholy of fall is a perfectly natural response to living in Finland. It was always the most traumatic experience in my life in Finland when "Jaakko heitti kylmän kiven kaivoon....." But praise the LORD! This month days will be getting longer again!

As a Finnish-American, I have always had great affinity with the Japanese. It is remarkable that two, so geographically separated people as Finns and the Japanese can have such common values.

Hi. I’m an Australian from Finnish parents. They were the only ones from their families to leave and so all my relatives are still there. Anyway, in the early 90’s my husband and I went to Japan for 2 years for his work, and it was then that I learnt my mother, who had never travelled to other countries, dreamt of visiting Japan. So having her visit us, and for me to show her around over 2 weeks was a most wonderful gift. So there must be something there in what you are saying. We know that the Japanese do love Marimekko. 😃

Nice. They have Marukome Instant Miso-Suppe in the supermarket. It is made in Japan, but repackaged in Germany.

Finns, like the Japanese, are geeks. They love science and technology. The Japanese have created some amazing hardware, such as the Sony Camcorders I love. Finns are experts of software, Linux is the most used OS in the WORLD. Great compatibility between the Finns and the Japanese.

alepa?でした。
