I wish there was a way to get global crit from blessings, Guidance only affecting attacks limits my ideas

While I do understand the "curse of the weakness" appeal, doesn't it defeat the purpose of d100 since you can lower that setting manually for enemies/bosses to deal less damage, therefore making d100 not really be d100?

You can't actually lower enemy damage specifically in the Crux, also all enemy stats go up as you raise the difficulty to 100. That line of thinking also is kind of flawed in a loot based game like this as well. Like, you can very easily make Avoron completely invincible in d100 with gear ( not including curse of weakness ) and talents. Does that also defeat the purpose of d100 or are you just using the tools your given to solve the current highest difficulty?

@@gamingwithjeff You're right that enemy damage can't be modified (must've confused it with Hades' pact) but boss damage can be amplified by 60% (nullifying that particular modifier with weakness by 6 points if I recall right, 3 points per 30%, making it really d94, not d100) As for Avoron, yeah, equilbrium+regen gear (no need for Inner Peace)+retribution and just afk and facetank everything. But then again, what difference does difficulty make if you're invincible? There's no death, therefore no real challenge, therefore no real point in playing the game on higher diffs than d30 (strictly for gear rarity). I think it's a design flaw by the devs, or an oversight perhaps (Avoron is designed to be a tank, not a god). My point is, gear that lowers settings changeable in the Crux are pointless, since you can modify them there directly with a few clicks, like enemy attack speed or move speed (otherwise why add them there only to remove them again in game via gear?). The nova traits on gear actually add some utility or dps (frost,poison,fire etc.) and so do weapons with status effects, but not the curses of x y z.

@@ResonantInfinity Gear that lowers stats that have been raised by the crux still have an opportunity cost. You are giving up other stats for the weakness proc. It's still d100, you're just directly mitigating the difficulty instead of tangentially mitigating it with other stats (e.g. increased DPS means monster health is mitigated, movement speed mitigates monster movement speed, etc).

Hey man, does the dagger The Forgiver - stack damage against an enemy type, or is that 30% damage increase against that enemy specifically, making it good against bosses etc?

Hey Jeff - sorry for unrelated question - You mentioned on another video somewhere that you had just finished X Men 97 and the ending wasnt great for you. I saw a lot of other people saying similar things...so I watched it with uncertain feelings only to get to the end and thought it was great! I have been curious to know your thoughts on the last episode.

These are my favorite kinds of questions btw 🙂 I think the last episode was good. a bit weaker than the previous 2 episodes and nowhere close to the episode 5, which might as well be the a animated red wedding. They were trying to fit so much story into such a small time frame I wasn't exactly surprised is was kind of messy (but it was cool as hell). I'm also fine with it ending how it did, I just hope we don't have to wait so long for season two.

​@@gamingwithjeff Well I'll come with a bunch! As soon as you said you had started watching it and it was a continuation...I went immediately over to Hulu or whatver it is and started watching. That music gives me goosebumps to this day and I probably still can quote Captive Hearts start to finish. Also the fact that it seems to be written for an adult audience is just such a treat. It could have been remade into a kids show but someone must have realized it's the 30 somethings that will watch. I tried watching the original show 3 or 4 years ago and I had a little bit of difficulty staying interested with the way they were telling the story. Anywho, its 1 am! Have a great night!

Just wondering, I recently got the "flying carpet" unique which allows you to walk through black flames. Would it be optimal to bring this so you can swap to it during waves such as at 4:00 and 17:00? That way you can keep grabbing shrines + you can swap back to your regular relic once you've walked through the flames

Tried some builds last night. Kinda noticed (even if it makes no sense), that getting Justice after Mort is sometimes tough...

I’ve only had time to play Merris and have only just started Act 2 after finally finishing her talent tree and testing two or three different set ups with basic non-specific gear. So I’ve only looked at the other characters and their new skills. Nixi definitely looked the least appealing to me.

I went all in to evade first and its all fine and dandy but on higher levels its just not working anymore that effectively (like there is also attacks just hit you anyway), also after 70% you get almost no increase from even high evade count items. Then I went partly to have + health on hit and its not that bad right now. If I can get more life on hit shrines the build start o stand fine. I found Ice dash, ice attack and ice powers the best because its always stops and poise most of the mobs and because of the shadowshift its proc constantly (nova is still occasionally) also Summers fire dash like doing extra damage somehow, maybe it keep reapply even if the old one running. What I found is War's knockback dash and attacks are the worst as you cant just train through on enemies you constantly pushing them front of you giving them opportunity to hit you.

Oh Also, would you consider doing an in-depth video solely on Gear? best in slots, best overall, best per character. things to be looking for. that sort of thing? maybe even do a tier listing?

Over the course of a run, yeah I think so.

Inner Peace with Master Lifeline maxed having 750 health is a huge portion of the survivability. Vampirism is good but 35~ life regen is broken.

It's both. One of the issues with Nixi being a light armor melee is just the lack of damage reduction from armor. I've had runs where I lose 500hp in under 2 seconds with her. With That much regen from inner peace + vampirism(specifically with shadow attacks, normal Vamp isint great) you can hopefully full heal after every failed evade

@@SacredMagic13679 When you hit for 10k, the first hit gets cranked up to 60k. Basically kills everything except for bosses in one hit.

​@@matthewf1979except with a dot style damage build like lifelink most of his first hits aren't going to be 10k. In fact even if he has an ability that hits hard lifelink will prevent him from taking advantage of it due to it's untargetable nature

Time to make Nixi build because i got thaf weapon today So i just stack dash damage, do i need attack damage on gear or dash dmg is enough ?

Dash damage and duration are the main things for this build. Outside of the usual Master offers and making sure you have Heal on kill on something

I'm a little disappointed how the vast majority of builds absolutely rely on legendary powers now. If you don't get it, it's auto GG. That just means you gotta gear for it and pray a little just to have a go.

It's a weird thing. The rewards stop at d30, and at d30 you don't actually need legendaries (or that much at all) to win. So I'm not sure how you balance it. I'm also fairly certain every character can beat d100 with no legendaries. But you do need extremely good gear and a proper build to do so.

Any one knows how to obtain Geminator or stopwatch?
