I can testify that indeed there is power in fasting. Last month i fasted for 5 days (no food, only apple juice, herbal tea and water). On day 2, I got a phone call asking me to share my CV. Long story short, i start my new job mid April. God is good. He is not a man that He should lie or a son of man to give false testimony. Try him, He will grant you the desires of your heart. ❤ Thank Dr Myles for this..its life changing

HALLELUJAH, I started my 40 day fast but it was a rough journey, the HOLY SPIRIT has led me to this video and am so excited and eager to go even beyond the 40 days Am really blessed by this sermon , am just in the middle of it but trust me can't wait to rewatch 😅🎉

One year ago I was a hardcore atheist. I was one a one month trip to Vietnam and got drunk so many times, that I ran out of money. I was forced to fast for 9 days which I did. When I came back home to Denmark I started reading The Bible. From hardcore atheist to a true believer in Jesus Christ in less than a year. Kickstarted by a 9 day non-voluntary fast. I hope this inspires somebody. God bless you all

This video is about the power of fasting, according to Dr. Myles Munroe. Dr. Munroe begins by discussing the importance of prayer, but then emphasizes that fasting is even more powerful. I started my 40 day fast and currently on day 18 (no food only water and one cup of natural juice smoothie a day). So far this journey is challenging but also life changing in a positive way. This is my second 40 day fast (my first fast 2015 was when I received the Holy Spirit and accept Jesus as my lord and savior) this fast was to get clarity and understanding more on my marriage and God has already given me a clear answer. Sometimes we may go into a fast asking God for something specific on what WE want but end up coming out of a fast on the direction of the Holy Spirit and what is best to glorify Jesus name! I went into this second fast thinking I should leave my husband only to get in the word of God (bible) and find out I need to stay, work it out, forgive, and control my thoughts and mouth. I thank God he loves me enough to show me not only my husband is not perfect but that I myself not perfect as well. We all fall short and this is why we need Jesus every single day that we are here on this earth. Now, I no longer have anger and have authority over my thoughts. Seeking God first, loving my husband, and two boys are my priority. Thank you Jesus for your love and mercy ❤️🙏

Some churches say fasting doesn't mean God will answer you. They never mention fasting. I am a witness that fasting for God works. Follow the word of God. God wants his people well. Praise God, I truly miss brother Monroe. Thank God for his videos and books. My daughter is healed of stage 4 cancer completely that her Dr couldn't understand it. Praise God for fasting and prayer. Jesus I serve you lovingly.

As of 3:03 pm CT, I have 5 more hours left until my 3week fast. Got out of toxic relationship on day 2 Got approved of a new home on day 6 Moved in day 8 Got a job offer day 10 but denied it Got promoted to higher company 5 days later on day 15 Haven’t had a single migraine since my first fast last October which caused my diagnosis of Epilepsy Family and friends think I’m crazy so the only way I can explain is to tell this testimony to them 🙏🏾

I wasn’t going to type anything but I want God and only him to get the glory. I started my 40 Days water 💦 Fast today. I’m praying and fasting for God to bless me with marriage and my sister as well. For my mother’s salvation and my three other siblings. I have never cried as much as I have been crying during this fast. I pray for God to strengthen me as I go through this fast. My baby girl married a female and it almost took my out with pain…… my oldest daughter and I fasted for 21 days no food and that marriage was cancelled IMMEDIATELY……. I’m gonna BELIEVE GOD FOR MORE!!!!! Dr Miles Monroe message on fasting (the other one that’s 1:04 ) was one that I listened to almost EVERY single day to get me through…… it became soooo easy after about day 7!!! My first stop for 2023 prayer and fasting, with no doubts... I don't regret I started here...🙌 may all your fasting season be worth every sacrifice and time you give.

when i watched this for the 1st time i kept asking "really" when he said it was impossible to fast and not get results..I tried it and LORD what happened thereafter words can not describe,Brothers and Sisters have faith,pray and fast God will do all that he promises.I got what i prayed for i get teary sometimes when i think about what the LORD did for me,I think for most people they don't believe because it sounds so simple or easy but its the real mccoy. GOD IS REAL AND HE CARES PEOPLE

I finished my fast today. I am starting intermittent fasting starting today, and I will do 36 hour fasts once a week. I started at 196 lbs and ended at 188 lbs. Best of luck to you both! We got this! It is a mental challenge.

I want to testify that I was watching this while fasting to receive more knowledge and power. I was completely annoyed at all the commercials every thirty seconds. I just said a little prayer: "God I want to hear this and learn but all these interruptions are making it hard." All of a sudden all those little yellow lines that represent commercials disappeared.

Fuck you. My wife had metastasized cancer in liver, and fasted after watching this video. She died sooner because of fasting. You freaking superstitious Christianity should stop driving people to death immediately.

@@newzapster metastasized cancer is a very difficult cancer and it is so difficult to watch people suffer with this. So sad that you and your wife had to go through this. It is true some cancers should be fasted and others should not be dealt with by fasting.

I am embarking on a 3 day fast journey, but I have challenges. Please pray for my strength to stay awake and read the word and pray, pray that God gives me the energy to carry me through these days.

Welldone for the sacrifice, May God bless you and give you the breakthrough that you desire. Also read Nehemiah 9 verse 1-3 to understand deeper. There is also great power in confessing our sins and those of our forefathers and try to live a clean life.

21 day fast to begin 2024. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you, may the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

I thought I was alone. Same here oooo but guess what? The devil snuck in and told me just two days ago that I should fast just Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so I could be able to go with the health tip of drinking water on an empty stomach but here I am listening to this and realising it's the devil steering me off of the right thing for me. May God hear our prayers and may His will be done in our lives.

I am fasting and praying for a wayward grandson, he's lost his way, we reared him in the admonition of the lord, as soon as he turned 18 he quite school and joined these young men on the streets living wrong, we don't know where he is but I declare and decree that he is safe, healed, that he is set free from the enemy, that he is on his way back home. Back to school and he is going to minister to those who led him astray and they shall be saved. All that know a word of prayer touch and agree with me in Jesus name.

I've tried a 3-day water fast before and failed. This time, I shared my plans and prayer requests with my mom. Around 20 hours into the fast, while I was dying to eat, my mom asked me to pray with her, seemingly knowing what I was thinking. I'm committed to finishing the fast and considering a 2-day extension.

Back here again on another 3-day fast. God has done miracles in my life and I'm turning this into a lifestyle. I fast every time I need to grow closer to Him.

Listening to this in 2023. I developed tonsilitis 2 days ago while on fasting. The pain was just too much and could not swallow even water. Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of this teaching esp on the part he said if you are sick just fast and pray and you will recover. I did just that and got healed without any medication. All the pain is gone. So thankful to God for Dr Myles. Though he is gone but his teachings are so powerful and effective even to this very day.

Fasting for 3 days absolute no food or water for 3 days 🙂 watched this for inspiration and direction since it has been a year since I fasted last.

I'm watching in 2023 needing to hear from God in this season 🙏

Fasting has changed my life and I do not mean mildly - I mean POWERFULLY! I’ve been a Christian most of my life and back in March 2021, the Lord put a strong urge in my heart to fast. Always wanting to please my Savior, I agreed immediately and proceeded to complete a 21 Day Daniel Fast. On day 21, I was completing my final prayer in which I asked Him for something (I'll keep that part private) and immediately the Lord spoke to my heart in a very strong way - He startled me! This is what He said: "THERE IS NO MORE TIME NOW. YOU BELONG TO ME. FOLLOW ME AND I WILL SHOW YOU." (I’ve never felt scolded and loved at the same time). Folks, if you need to hear from Jesus Christ, if you are sick and need healing, if COVID-19 has taken a loved one, anything at all; I guarantee you, He will connect with you in a very supernatural way! I promise you! Great teaching here. Thank you and God bless you all!

"Prayers breaks habits and spiritual bondage ". Very true. On my very 1st 21 day fast, God delivered me from alcohol and drug addiction, suicidal thoughts, anxiety AND depression. Wish I would have known about the power of prayer paired with fasting a long time ago! God is good. Fasting should be a lifestyle.
