This series is awesome. I'm thinking that, outside of the "you kidnapped me" part, I can see Stanley and Valerie hitting it off. And I am so glad that Nat became a main character and sort of friended Madison.

Aw man, I wish I had a twin! I bet you guys get that a lot though haha.

Another great episode! Taylor Huff did an amazing job in the beginning - probably the best acting I've seen from both her and the show yet. Kinda jarring when it immediately cut to the happy intro music after that opening, but still! Stanley is a total dork, even though he's kind of casually evil about it. I mean, he's trying to make sure Nat is comfortable, but then he's also preventing her from escaping and being complicit in the whole "selling her off to the highest bidder" and tossing her in the back of a van, so..... I liked the rolling down the beach. That made a lot of sense, and was pretty clever for the whole "fastest way to move around on land with a tail" thing. Plus, right as I was about to say "why doesn't she throw some sand?" then she did, so kudos on that too. The plastic wrap on the beach was also a nice way to send a message without being too overt about it. I liked that Madison and Nat are starting to bond, as well as showing why Nat likes Liam as a friend and why Liam is a good guy, even if he's not the sharpest marble in the bag. And I liked Nat's like, "But I liked that other mermaid!" Looking forward to the next one!

Glad you feel that way! Thank you! Taylor was at first very worried about the scene but I think she did an amazing job with it. And yeah, we were joking that we should totally replace the title song with some sad music for this episode haha. To me, Stanley's conflict is all about trying to be kind to the mermaid versus not losing the first "friends" he's had in a long time. So I personally don't consider him evil, he's just very dependent on Astrid and Jed's attention at the moment. Hahahaha "the sharpest marble in the bag".. that made me laugh! Thank you for all your awesome and insightful feedback!! :)
